    Hello my friend.. Beautiful bookmarks. I have never made any but it seems like a nice item to make as gifts. As always Great learning video. Thanks for sharing. One great thing about your youtube videos is you even show problems an how to fix them. That in my eyes makes you the best. You have a wonderful teaching method. I only wish we lived not in different countries an could chat an do lunch sometime. Thanks for your knowledge and time. I APPRECIATE YOU AND YOUR ART. Hugs Sheryl

      As always my friend, thank you for making me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. I love giving them as gifts, they a cute project to work on and experiment with effects. Its important to me that I show my learns as I go and how I fix (the ones that don't go in the bin that is lol) The is nothing stopping us chatting over a cuppa one day even if its virtual, at the end of the day its what we are doing with locals due to COVID. I APPRECITE YOUR SUPPORT

    So. Dang. Cool! I love these! And it's a great way to experiment effects without using a lot of resin. Loving those 3-d swirls!

      @@SharonLindleyVividDaysArt , mine came out pretty cool, actually. I tried a couple different ideas. I think your bookmark molds are a tiny bit deeper, which is nice. I did video making them. It’s on my channel. Thanks for asking!❤️❤️

    They are all beautiful 😍😍. Love the ocean colours and ocean vibe. Funnily enough I was thinking about making some bookmarks. I've avoided them so far as think I would get frustrated with them. Maybe you have inspired me to have a go 😁. I've got a heated reptile may now so am able to make a few coasters and smaller items 😀.

      I have found if I work on a project and leave some left over clear, they bubble have gone so when I add it to book marks they are ready for me to just adding the dye and casting craft then cover. It works a treat and over time I am building up my collection again and as I only work on about 1 - 3 I have experimenting. Let me know how you go with yours.

    I love doing bookmarks. I have another mold which is half size I use for keyring. Love the colours on your bookmarks, The Ocean, surprisingly. Like your second one, it has movement.
    I was doing some dried flowers but air bubbles are a pain. Have you done any??? Any tips??? Take care and stay safe 💖💖💖

    • @SharonLindleyVividDaysArt
      @SharonLindleyVividDaysArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am actually just working through some project with dry flowers and learning, first learn for m is don't add so much colour and let the flowers be the hero lol. Watch for some videos coming your way soon. My main learn is you need fast curing resin and i have also seen other dipping the flowers in resin first as in the tub at the side then adding it to your resin mould. On a steep learning curve with it, lets learn together

    Love these Sharon!!!! I do have a ? Did u put them back in the molds to dome? I hope that not a dumb ?💕💕🥰

    • @SharonLindleyVividDaysArt
      @SharonLindleyVividDaysArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope its not a dumb question, once you release your resin from a mould it will never have the same seal and you risk it dripping down the side. I pit mine on a flat level surface and put masking tape on the bottom and edges and a tiny bit of Vaseline around the hole to stop resin going down the hole. It works a treat and you hardly need any resin. I keep my finger and the base to hold it steady until I fill that section. Hope that helps and thank you also

    When I put a drop of pigment into the UV RISEN it does not harden under the lamp as without paint. Why?

    Hand in the way of the camera very hard to see what you are doing

    Your camera should be on the opposite side. Your hand blocks the view of exactly what you are doing most of the time.
