I know you and I don't always agree on stuff. But thanks for ripping this figure a new one. Bought the standard edition for 125 bucks, and all he came with was an AR and hands. My halo reach collectors edition with statue cost $150 bucks, 60 of that was the game. Incredible sculpt of the promo poster and with some removable weapons I occassionally give to other figures. Its spot on my desk remains unchallenged after over a decade. I only recently got into collecting but even I could instantly tell the price on these was obscene.
Anthony, thanks for always being honest. It feels like almost every other reviewer will be overly positive in their reviews of figures in order to justify their purchase to themselves. I saw these and thought immediately they were way too expensive, though I still felt like I wanted the whole Reach set. With your review, I feel better about passing on most of them, even though they may not all be bad. Just hoping Noble Four, Emile (my favourite) is good. Cheers.
I also have to give credit for actually mentioning how easy it is for the arms to just pop off. Most reviews I’ve seen glossed over it. I can’t believe that they actually made issues for this line that Master Chief didn’t have. Right out of the box this figure was a disappointment. It’s pretty rare for a figure of this price to convince me it was trash so quickly.
To get all the noble team figures it's around $1500 which is just crazy I got the master chief when it was 50% off at game stop so only $80. It's a nice figure but not worth full price. It's insane what people are apparently willing to pay for these🤯

I love mech suits and armored chatacters ,cyborgs and all of that
The regular edition cost less than $120 if order from Japanese retailer site (sold out in most of the places now). I don't understand why this exclusive edition cost $200 just for a different visor and a extra weapon.🧐
I was fortunate enough to grab their Halo Infinite Chief for $60, and for that price, I was satisfied, especially since they at least had the excuse that the armor was very clean in its initial reveal before the delay. With this figure, there's absolutely no excuse for them charging even more than Chief for less, and not even bothering to give him or any of the other Reach characters the proper paint apps. Tgese figures are about on par with MDLX engineering wise and lag behind them on sculpting. Only they're about twice as expensive as your average MDLX figure.
I don't mind the clean look, a wash would've gone a long way but I like the idea of them looking so clean for display honestly. The visor, while not chrome, does put me at ease a bit because I was worried about the chrome stuff scuffing or getting damaged over time for whatever reason. The biggest hit for me is the joints that pop off... I HATE when joints pop off.. I have decent amount of s.h. monsterarts Godzilla figures, and that line is notorious for joints popping out and it's so frustrating for me.. I hope I have some better luck with my figure, I'm sorry yours is like this... For me, I am a huge fan of the franchise, and I have all of Noble Team on preorder and I will still be blindly consuming these figures because they look so good to me. And it'll be fun for me personally because I have Noble Team from McFarlane, Mega Construx, Jazwares, and now from 1000toys, never gonna bother with Square Enix but I am excited to add to my noble team collection!
Thank you! I got myself a Noble and got totally disappointed with the feel and the look, but all the reviews seem to be praising the figure. Now I know I’m not insane. Traded the new $150 high-tech action figure for Joyride Arbiter, a 20-year old, barely articulated toy, and was completely happy with the deal.
sunk cost fallacy. lots of the people will convince themselves that something they spent that much money for isn't shit. never understood it, but see it all too much to know its real lol.
GOD DAMN! Was not expecting that ! It is stupid expensive for sure. Especially the Exclusive versions which are just stupid overpriced and everyone should avoid. I wouldn't say I agree with the articulation being bad. I think for a chunky armored dude it's pretty great. I was able to make my Noble 6 do all off Jada Toys Chun Li's moves which is amazing imo. The figures looking like the armor just came off the assembly line is fair for sure. I personally am a bit of a weirdo and like how it makes it look crisp but I totally get people wanting them to look grungey. Thanks for being honest as always though! P.S totally with you on Halo being cooked lol. been a fan since CE and "Halo Studios" are beyond fucked.
I remember scrolling around BBTS a couple months back and laughing at the price of this when I first saw it. Totally fine with my mid JazWares Noble Six 😅
For $200 dollars, it doesn’t do much more than the Jazwares at $25 dollars. I’ve bought Jazwares Halo figures, done the McFarlane knee swap and repainted them, a hodgepodge kitbash is infinity better than what you’re getting for $200 dollars.
Phew, glad I passed on this. I was so tempted to at least get this guy and the Rookie (if they ever make him) for the Bungie protags. Glad I held off to see if they'd make a female Noble Six, because it just saved me a butt load of money.
I think you went a little too hard on this figure, but then I remember the $200 price point, and you’re overall absolutely right that none of the disappointing aspects should be a thing for that money
When it comes to Sentinel there is always a brand premium. I don't their prices justify anything they deliver but that's been a case for a long time. I pick and choose, having said that I will get all of the figures in this line.
Fun fact, somehow they made their noble 6 taller than their halo infinite master chief. I have them standing next to each other in my display and noble 6 mogs chief. His head is way bigger too. Just how
Great figure and incredible detail. But for that price? No. Like I love him, I’ve fully committed myself to getting the full team, but for this price we should be getting way more accessories and paint, the fact we don’t have any sort of wash is downright ridiculous.
Yup for sure. You can love something enough to be critical of it and that's totally fine. I just bought Carter for 100 bucks since he's out now and have all but Jorge ordered so far.
Another thing is, he doesn’t even have the knife on his shoulder, which leads me to believe this is based on the Infinite Mark V B. This figure really makes me sad for the state of action figures, especially Halo ones.
The weird tiny ball for the hands on the last figure kept making the hands fall off for me, hopefully that's not the case here, but last time I had to take apart a revoltech and use those joints for the hands
I was able to get the Infinite Chief for a bit below 100 on eBay some time after he came out, so I'm HOPING that this'll be the same. Love all of Noble team but I don't wanna drop nearly 1K on 1000Toys
Out of curiosity, what would you say goes into it feeling and looking like a model kit? Is it from it the clean/plain look, the weight, the plastic feel/finish, or some other aspects?
Ever since Figmas Dread Samus if a figure touts having butterflies and is expensive I'm always comparing it mentally. The range on it is crazy. If you're gonna make butterflies please make them work well enough to be worth it. Does it really cost that much more to make them properly? Even outside of expensive figures it doesn't seem like it should be that hard.
He sold out at bbts, I know the review wasn’t all to great towards this figure but I’ve all been a big fan of reach since release so I want to snag all the upcoming ones and display them all together, still trying to find this guy I got all the others on preorder
I don't think its quite as bad as u think but ur so right about those shoulders, they look and function hidiously,. Oh one thing u didn't mention is I think the head looks way too small, def not worth the cash. Top Vid as always
Now, maybe shf or storm. If mcf could make new figures using their old Halo 3 figures as a guide, mcf. But i don't see mcf doing anything particularly well these days.
The issue is they reused all the engineering for MC. This is basically a heavy retool vs a new figure. Each of these should be full new sculpts for the price. They cut corners and held back and it'll cost them. Not enough accessories
The stand editions of these figures costs 125 you just gotta dig a bit i while inget these are expensive im a massive halo fan and have wanted premium noble team figures for years and these scratch that itch iv been waiting over a decade for
My expectations are killed I’m fully aware of what’s to come with the figure and since I don’t have a good noble six fig imma still get it. Along with Emile and Jorge I don’t really care for the whole time
The main designer from 1000toys, and one of its founding members, Tobari Yuta, left a while back, and it hasn't been the same since. Yuta started his own company, T.E.S.T. (Tokyo East Side Toys), and is continuing to make figures from Tsutomu Nihei's work, while also contracting with Good Smile; he's overseeing their line of Berserk Pop-Up Parade figures. 1000toys was my favorite toy company for a while, but not since Yuta left.
@DriftSpaceZero I've heard that before, but I'm not sure how much that's the case with these. The credit for sculpture and finisher for Noble Six, Carter, and Jun are all the same as Infinite Chief. Emile, Kat, and Jorge had the same sculpter, but the finisher was changed
Halo Reach is my favorite game of all time. I am BEGGING for a company to make proper 1/12 figures of Noble Team. That said, I'm skipping this line. Would I be willing to pay $150 for each member? Maybe. But they've got to come with more than just extra hands. That's not good enough. Jazwares was able to make Emile with a removable dagger. They also made Jorge properly scaled. It's little stuff like that where 1000toys just dropped the ball. Sounds like I'm glad I skipped these, but I'm sadly still waiting for proper figures
for that price it should have better paint job to make this figure look like an actual armor that has been in combat and not plastic out of the fabric, more guns as accesories for make it worth the price.
just curious, could the price be a licensing thing? i don’t know a ton about halo but it doesn’t seem to be managed very well now and i wonder if 343 is jacking up licensing in line with that
I remember watching your mcfarlane halo reach figure reviews like 10 years ago haha. years later I am disappointed as an adult paying over $200 for my favorite character. It really bugs me how the torso and the head are different colors than the arms and legs
I was extremely excited for this line. Still am holding out hope for the rest of them so I can finally have the team in my collection. But this was a major let down from the Halo Infinite Master Chief. Does not even compare to him. I was trying to do similar poses I’ve done with the Chief with him and could not do it without his arms falling off constantly. I feel like his color is wayyy off too. He should be the darker grey on his arms everywhere.
It’s kinda crazy how the standard version of noble 6 is now selling for the retail price of the exclusives while the exclusives are insanely rare to find for a price not over $300. I got the exclusives thanks to bbts 2nd batch of pre-orders but i do wish i got the standard so it’s easier and cheaper to get in the timeline these release. I agreed on some parts with you on everything here, i dunno how you got possibly the worst copy but i gotta say you being my absolute one review channel i trust it really made me feel kinda dumb for getting into this line 😅. I am happy with my noble 6 since the jazwares version was atrocious, the joints were gummy, knee bend is really bad, helmet looks way too big for his torso, and his helmet is 2 shades lighter than the rest of his armor. For 1:12 scale 1k toys seems to be the only option for good articulated figures.
So Jazwares even with all the flaws managed to do it better solely for the price? Thats pretty sad. Hate to add insult to injury but if these are that simple and cheap feeling there is an extremely high chance KOs will be out soon and possibly "better" depending if they opt to make improvements or cut corners to make it distinct enough not to be a clone.
I really liked the first two Master Chief figs from 1000toys. Eventhough they were pretty expensive they at least had a more premium feel and had a couple more accesories. But man this offering feels like a money grab from 1000toys. No where near the feel of the last release.
Its a pretty bad line, my brother preorder ed all of them and after getting “noble6” he cancelled all of them, i think Storm Collectibles would do a great job and for waaaaay less
yeah this just doesn’t even come close to the gritty halo reach look. $200, quite frankly, is absurd. will not be picking this up. thanks for taking one for the team and reviewing this
@@AnthonysCustoms haha, nope! i’d say this figure more closely resembles the noble six armor from halo infinite. even then, the infinite version probably had more battle damage than this thing. not very convincing that this is supposed to be a battle hardened soldier. disappointing. halo is indeed done for, sadly.
This was my first 1000toys figure and I hated it. Unfortunately I've already pre ordered Jun, Kat and Emile! I was going for the whole set but the second I got noble 6 in my hands I lost all excitement.
Yeah, that looks terrible, and while I don't know the IP that well, the sculpt looks sharp, and looks like it'd come up really well with a wash and some weathering. But that price point is insane 😂
Probably the biggest disappointment I’ve had with figure collecting in recent memory. I almost never sell new figures but this one convinced me. I will always remember this figure whenever they announce something new.
This looks and feels like a pre-assembled model kit only it costs around three times as much. Also, an extra ~$50 for one gun and a shiny visor is pretty pathetic.
The leg panels on this thing are basically just insulting. A $200 figure that comes with a spot for a pistol holster, but they don't bother to include even one pistol? Not to mention the energy sword holding hands, but no energy sword. Ridiculous.
it is so sad that my favorite halo game has only these figures as "high end" collectibles while it look likema cheap model kit and whats worse isbthat to get all the them you have to pay almost 1000 euros/usd more or less. If at least were cheaper i could pass some defects but damn that prime point is absurd and they lack on everything from pint to accessories and paint. Shame on them, i loved the infinite chief especially that finish even tho he was lacking paint too resembled the one we saw in first infinite trailer And teh worst thing is that Emile wont have his iconic knife!!!
@@AnthonysCustoms You’re right, I should try to be a little positive but it’s now a defensive mechanism to expect the worst from Microsoft and Seattle in general haha
I feel trapped after getting the first one to preorder the rest. Like, "I got one might as well finish the team"... but these are criminally meh quality and minimal accessories
I got only their Master Chief from Halo run and I will not buy more of their Halo figures. I mean they went over the line with charging so much for such bare minimum figures.
I got this figure, I love it. I didn’t love the price I paid. It feels like a very well engineered and put together mode kit, with absolutely none of the paint or decals or detailing added in. $200 for the rocket launcher was insane. I’m going to buy all the exclusive ones but goddamn I’m sad. Felt low effort with the details.
The figure itself is great, much better articulation than expected for a figure that bulky. Hard to see how any other figure company could pull off better movement. This thing is miles better than the garbage $20 figure other collectors try to convince themselves is on par or better than the 1000toys. I've noticed this guy tends to be a contrarian. If most collectors are saying this is an all around great figure despite the lack in accessories and this guy is saying its bad, chances are its good. I don't pay premium for accessories, I pay premium for a premium made figure.
Hard cope. I'm sorry you can't see it but I spent and entire video explaining how this thing could be improved. To call me a contrarian in order to discount all of the information in the video simply shows your hand. I'm sorry you base your what you think is good on what "most collectors" think rather than what's right in front of you. You don't know what you're paying premium prices for. Enjoy feeling special because you only listen to people justifying their purchases rather than thinking for yourself and using the actual information provided to you in this video. Have fun with that.
@AnthonysCustoms I don't base what I think is good on what you say either lol. Relax guy, all I meant to say is your opinion is dog poop, not because I'm "justifying" my purchase, I knew good and well what I was spending money on. It's not like 1000toys hides the contents of the box and surprises you when you buy. I would argue its more idiotic for someone like you to buy the figure knowing you won't like it just to bash it on your whiney review channel.

The mcf Halo line is one of the best ever with the caveat that it had its share of problems and got bad toward the end
I still think joyride was the best. No one has come close to the breadth and detail of non spartan characters
mcf did.
He sold out at bbts, I know the review wasn’t all to great towards this figure but I’ve all been a big fan of reach since release so I want to snag all the upcoming ones and display them all together, still trying to find this guy I got all the others on preorder
@@metalmadness1001 hey man in case you are still looking for this guy he is available on bbts for $5 less.
@@saltypepper3178 thanks for the heads up!
I don't think its quite as bad as u think but ur so right about those shoulders, they look and function hidiously,. Oh one thing u didn't mention is I think the head looks way too small, def not worth the cash. Top Vid as always
Damn $200!! It's hot toys level pricing
Yeah but hot toys can’t really pull of an poses and playability is extremely limited not to mention it can degrade if you’re not careful
Which toy manufacturer do you think would make the Halo figures best?
Now, maybe shf or storm. If mcf could make new figures using their old Halo 3 figures as a guide, mcf. But i don't see mcf doing anything particularly well these days.
The issue is they reused all the engineering for MC. This is basically a heavy retool vs a new figure. Each of these should be full new sculpts for the price. They cut corners and held back and it'll cost them. Not enough accessories
Wow thanks for saving me money, I just cancelled all my preorders, was hoping to put next to master chief but now not anymore
Twice the price of Mafex, half the quality 😂
The stand editions of these figures costs 125 you just gotta dig a bit i while inget these are expensive im a massive halo fan and have wanted premium noble team figures for years and these scratch that itch iv been waiting over a decade for
Id love soem 1/6th covenant
Glad I passed on this line
My expectations are killed I’m fully aware of what’s to come with the figure and since I don’t have a good noble six fig imma still get it. Along with Emile and Jorge I don’t really care for the whole time
What happened to 1000toys? Master Chief is a masterpiece.. Noble Six is so disappointing
Whats Halo?
So sad I missed this one now I can't find it anywhere
Amazon will probably get more. They got a ton of MC a few months after release
This reminds me of the Three Zero Master Chief 1/6 scale figure that you reviewed a long time ago. It was terrible with a high price.
still one of the all time worst figures ive reviewed
just curious, could the price be a licensing thing? i don’t know a ton about halo but it doesn’t seem to be managed very well now and i wonder if 343 is jacking up licensing in line with that
Doubt it. The Hellboy figures are ridiculously expensive too and there's no way that's pulling huge licensing fees.
Is there actually a good 1/12 scale Noble Six existing?
@@Yarlickno lmao
I remember watching your mcfarlane halo reach figure reviews like 10 years ago haha. years later I am disappointed as an adult paying over $200 for my favorite character. It really bugs me how the torso and the head are different colors than the arms and legs
Screw this line I just want a good 1/6th scale line of reach figures. There has to be demand for that plz someone make them 😭
The mcfarlane figure is the best yet (price and quality), if you want something better i will get the square enix figure but is a little bit weird
Almost 15 years since reach released. It came out 9/2010.
I was bummed I missed out on this one but now? Not so much…
It’s kinda crazy how the standard version of noble 6 is now selling for the retail price of the exclusives while the exclusives are insanely rare to find for a price not over $300.
The ko of master chief isn't worth having imo
You had me until the price tag was mentioned. For that price, I need the whole figure to be die cast. Nope.
Agreed
yeah this just doesn’t even come close to the gritty halo reach look. $200, quite frankly, is absurd. will not be picking this up. thanks for taking one for the team and reviewing this
was anything ever clean looking in reach? anything? lol
I was going for the whole set but the second I got noble 6 in my hands I lost all excitement.
it looks more like Halo Infinite version
Yeah, that looks terrible, and while I don't know the IP that well, the sculpt looks sharp, and looks like it'd come up really well with a wash and some weathering. But that price point is insane 😂
Probably the biggest disappointment I’ve had with figure collecting in recent memory. I almost never sell new figures but this one convinced me. I will always remember this figure whenever they announce something new.
This looks and feels like a pre-assembled model kit only it costs around three times as much. Also, an extra ~$50 for one gun and a shiny visor is pretty pathetic.
Well at least the knees look good on these halo figures…….
(Sarcasm)
The leg panels on this thing are basically just insulting. A $200 figure that comes with a spot for a pistol holster, but they don't bother to include even one pistol? Not to mention the energy sword holding hands, but no energy sword. Ridiculous.
There goes the hype lmao. If I'm remembering correctly the company recently had some restructuring going on. This just isn't it for 200 bucks.
No one should ever have to feel the need to repaint a $200 figure.
Man the noble 6 from mcfarlane has more paint detail than this
it is so sad that my favorite halo game has only these figures as "high end" collectibles while it look likema cheap model kit and whats worse isbthat to get all the them you have to pay almost 1000 euros/usd more or less. If at least were cheaper i could pass some defects but damn that prime point is absurd and they lack on everything from pint to accessories and paint. Shame on them, i loved the infinite chief especially that finish even tho he was lacking paint too resembled the one we saw in first infinite trailer
And teh worst thing is that Emile wont have his iconic knife!!!
He doesn't? I didn't look that close. That's nuts
@@AnthonysCustoms he has it sculpted on his shoulder pad but cant be removed
Halo Studios lol
People actually think that a rebrand and Unreal Engine will save Halo… not a chance.
It could be a good thing... If the important stuff changes too... The important stuff won't likely change though
@@AnthonysCustoms You’re right, I should try to be a little positive but it’s now a defensive mechanism to expect the worst from Microsoft and Seattle in general haha
Oh he’s by 1000toys that’s why he’s hella overpriced, they have always been like that but they are even WORSE now😅
I can see the value at $80 but $200 is absurd.
It's insane how expensive this is given that the paint app is completely wrong (and has absolutely no detail besides). This figure is almost a scam.
At least master chief looked good 🤣🤣🤣
If you're going to get 1000toys you should get the synthetic body's or Hellboy
You just saved me $200…
Happy to help
@@AnthonysCustomsjesus man just let people enjoy what they spend their money on💀
@AnthonysCustoms I don't base what I think is good on what you say either lol.
It has literally no paint detail on it. It's just all bare plastic.
Biggest disappointment, had all of them pre-ordered but canceled as soon as I got Noble 6 (in the process of returning).
