@GlobalProjectControl thanks for that Ahmad. Once you have a percentage for duration % ( as an actual) and click on actual update what should be seen?
Hi I have a question, When i use Progress update and i select the Data-date i want, some of the tasks change the finish dates (only tasks with ongoing progress). Can you explain to me what to do to prevent this? thank you.
Your question is not clear enough! Please note that after the progress update if you get delayed then the project forecast finish date will be shifted to the right!
I already checklist the autocompute box.. and apply actual ( with the same command of course), with the new data date from finish date planned but its not shifted and the checklist wont compute as Actual works, can you figure it out why this happened??
if you proceed the command base on the video, it should be work. but in case of any problem exist please join to GPC Group by below link for further clarification. 🌍 GPC Group : t.me/GlobalProjectControl
In the video, when you use update progress with selected activity, it is showing not started activities before data date, which is logically wrong. In order to move the not started activity after data date, you should schedule with the new data date (In this case Nov 10,21).
Yes, it is. But I want to present Apply Actual and Update Progress capability. In the real condition after each update, we should schedule the project in order to re-schedule the remaining work
All your lectures are very informative
Glad to hear that
Really good !
I appreciate your feedback 🙏
thank you for introducing different parts of software, But in real project when do we use apply actuals and for what purpose?
If you need to update the Actual Progress as same as the Plan then you can use this part of the software.
