Check up on how Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel was written
A lot of songs certainly are, they just take more time to polish and add details rather than calling the first take of every idea finished.
The Pretender by the Foo Fighters was
Typically not. These guys have a gift though
I wish robs song about leaving his mortgage in his cats name made it on the album it was a certified slapper
10:47 "What the heck, man. This is gonna be a hit."
I look forward to these every year.
Look lads, whatever happens, we can all agree that the real First of October was the friends we made along the way.
14:17 - Heavy Wibblespoon influence. He and Rob are spending too much time together.
This is one of those videos you could watch every 3 months or so and it would still be just as good.
Yeah. I watch this like once a month. It’s fun, and it inspires me in my music. Love it
it's honestly really inspiring how fast and how dedicated they are to writing songs in these videos. It really makes me want to sit down at my keyboard or to pick up my guitar and just make something awesome. It doesn't matter if it's any good or not, as long as it's honest, it'sworth making. So that's what I'm going to go do. :P
I feel like "cat mortgage debt" needs to be a song on the next album.
Yes xD
I love how I can hear both Rob's and Andrew's styles in this
Maybe it's just me, but I feel that their decision to do a lunch break this time kinda influenced their, well, lyrical topics...^^
(Great result tho)
The world wasn’t ready for woo, they came back strong with yeah, can’t wait for the third installment nanana
Rob, Andrew idk if either of you will ever see this comment but if you do I just want you both to know you two have been a giant inspiration for a long long time. I haven’t really begun to get up out of my bed to try and record with the equipment that my grandpa gave me since he is moving. Music has always been this weird part of my family where no one took me seriously and still think I can be happy just getting a normal job.
Nothing makes me happier than watching you two in videos like this being together and making something special. Something I can only dream of doing. I want to say how glad I am to be a part of this small youtube community. And I have to be honest i am tearing up right now XD
This year I am going to record music for my own journey and see where it takes me.
Thank you both for making the content that drives the creative hearts of millions of kids and adults who grow and learn each day from artists and hero’s like you.
My name is Nicholas Achterberg.
Keep the music alive.
Daaamn I've been just searching for the old "album in a day" video. I thought I was too drunk the last time I've seen this because couldn't remember any of the songs and just realized that's a new video :D
I love how supportive Tamara is of her husband
I was wondering why she was in the video. Who she married to? Rob?

Beginning of video feelings: "How much time do we have? We are totally crushing this!"
Towards end of video feelings: "There is so much left to do arrrg!"
