He's chatting with blindboy with the comfort and ease of talking to one of your own, like two lads at the local. I love Cillian, Hollywood star but he's never forgotten where he's from.

This is such a contrast from Tommy Shelby during the earlier seasons of Peaky Blinders lol. So pleased that Cillian is a feminist in his own right, and that he supports LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights. Just makes me love him even more.

And you definitely cannot say you're free if you're not allowed as an adult, to choose to smoke cannabis, as i do, once or twice a week, a tiny amount, you work hard, you pay taxes, you're allowed to drink and smoke, which you should be, but you're not allowed to smoke a little bit of cannabis, that's totally backwards and careless. Teens are developing mental health issues because they smoke plants with the cbd taken out, which helps to balance the thc, that's like instead of eating fruit, you're just ingesting pure fructose (sugar). There should be zero referendum for cannabis, it should be made legal, good people, healthy people smoke it, anyway, rant over.
Cannabis Legalization been a battle here in the states for quite some time - and the drug war will not come to an end any time too soon. Almost as if it's decriminalization and legalization didn't get pushed through federally - because everyone knows big tobacco is going to overtake & flood the market (and they are the biggest investors to contribute the most capital to the industry so far). So there will be another rush of people clamoring to be in the industry - like all the businesses that suddenly sprung up to capitalize on the opportunity from this new cannabis industry; and perhaps, just perhaps, it's a possibility that it can lead to reformation of the criminal justice system and treatment of addicts - perhaps help to clean up the mental health crisis. [Yet, media outlets report stories of Kids using Fentanyl and suddenly US lobbyists get loads of funding for this phony drug war and the strawman they created; how much of them funds will help fight addiction and the mental health crisis - I wonder...] It's a very delicate issue - too many nuances & moving parts involved for one person to even comprehend. This coming from a Michigander. Where our state legalized medicinal use, then later, recreational use. Yet, between those two points - you still here gossip of dispensaries being raided; and the amount of cash the businesses pulled in within a day would make some people's eye water. Those raids were sanctioned only because of [Controlled Substances Act] the federal laws that classify the drug as dangerous as heroin & meth. IDK how many more people have to make the point - how alcohol is legalized and yet it is one of very few drugs known to make people angry or violent, yet cannabis is outlawed and treated criminally.
