[Yet, media outlets report stories of Kids using Fentanyl and suddenly US lobbyists get loads of funding for this phony drug war and the strawman they created; how much of them funds will help fight addiction and the mental health crisis - I wonder...] It's a very delicate issue - too many nuances & moving parts involved for one person to even comprehend. This coming from a Michigander. Where our state legalized medicinal use, then later, recreational use. Yet, between those two points - you still here gossip of dispensaries being raided; and the amount of cash the businesses pulled in within a day would make some people's eye water. Those raids were sanctioned only because of [Controlled Substances Act] the federal laws that classify the drug as dangerous as heroin & meth. IDK how many more people have to make the point - how alcohol is legalized and yet it is one of very few drugs known to make people angry or violent, yet cannabis is outlawed and treated criminally.
