that was because it was even cloning the ball which was droped from the kong
I thought scratch was nothing just a garbage website but with your tutorials scratch is super awesome you taught me how to broadcast. Before I didn't know what was broadcast (sry if this comment is offensive)

when you were creating a broadcast to create a clone it didnt just create a clone from the original ball but it created a clone from all clones as well (I dont know if that is how it is supposed to work).....
and then if u had 2 balls on the screen than they would all glide to that first position

Maybe Super Mario Bros next? (A simpler version is fine for me) It could be different than a normal platformer because it could scroll and because of the unique mario enemies.

The Problum Is The Donkey kong only wait 3 seconds but the ball qulides more than that seconds, this is the problum for the cloning boadcasts i think.

coding with chris i see the problem its that you put make a clone of this clone so it will make clones of every clone in 3 seconds
Why the broadcast can't work its cause you are broadcasting the clone
It seems that Scratch is so limited when you want to recreate some things you saw in games, and takes a lot of time and effort.
It's not really cause scratch is limited, It's more like you have to make everything yourself, however I do see your point though.
There are some limits but it’s definitely not something you wanna compare with a real game engine. But if you make many projects eventually you’ll have enough codes you can reuse. Also you can reuse others code which is great .

The reason the barrel was like that is because you used the code on the original sprite and created clones, and the clones attempted to follow the coding so it spawned from the original sprite and glided there. I recommend putting the original sprite at the donkey kong sprite, hide it and upon a clone spawning show it.
