The Hyundai could be in the blind spot of cement truck. The Hyundai turns in from the blind spot on the left of driver and stay within the blind spot in front. Then truck driver did not check his front blind spot mirror (assume he has one). Sad case but the cement truck driver will get most if not all the fault.

He could have turned left and slowly filtered out or waited until the heavy vehicle had moved off, yet he chose to obstruct other road users by cutting straight to the middle lane and possibly the blind spot of the cement mixer who may not have noticed him. He deserved the consequences for his bad judgement.

It's the common sense of the person. My 12 year old kid knows not to stop in front of the truck or rather a truck has stopped behind us when we were at the white line, that's what he told me when we were cycling on the road once on a sunday early morning. We shifted to the pedestrian footpath. lol. Dont know where he learnt one tho, maybe youtube vids like these.

Did a quick check on This Hyundai car plate number. Very rude and impatient driver. Horned at me and my daughter while we are crossing the zebra crossing. Inched forward while we both were crossing the road. Speaks of his/her values. Entitled driver.

Becoz there are a lot of auto car drivers who like to stop too early for no reason, and then over a period of time....they will creep forward bit by bit randomly until there's a gap between the vehicle behind them.
