I liked the white one with the war bonnet. Looked like a character. I enjoyed how you figured out how to do that many vaccines fast. The horses didn't flinch, pretty kool❤
Hydraulic splitter and a larger chainsaw would save you enormous amounts of time and the whole family could participate in wood harvesting.........When I bought a hydraulic splitter 29 years ago, I wondered why I did not do that 10 years prior!!! (now I am old and need one to get anything done, lol)
I have one too, I haven't used it since I was in the car accident 3 years ago. Hopefully after the surgeries are done I can burn wood again. Those spliters are back savers for sure, I love mine!
Trinity if you are going to split wood the old fashioned way, my favorite is a Stihl splitting maul, for the big stuff, a Stihl splitting Axe for the small stuff, and a Stihl splitting Hatchet for making kindling. Stihl chainsaws and hand equipment are the best in my opinion. They're nor cheap, and are balanced. Try them and you'll agree. If you are Man enough a steel handled Monster Maul is indestructible. For splitting a couple weeks worth, a gas engine hydraulic splitter is a must. That's alot of horses. Good show.
❤🎉 Awww Trinity your young boy is just ADORABLE!!! 😊🤩 Your family work day videos are so fun, very sweet, God is good, thank you Trinity for sharing!! ❤️🥰🙏🐎☺️😁😍
What I notice is teamwork and for what we saw, everyone stayed in their lane and did their job with integrity, knowing that the whole process (a big one) will really suck if attitudes get in the way. Great family and great team work to keep your livestock healthy. Great to participate by watching. Thank you!
I'll have to try giving the shot that quick. Down to one horse though, so not even close to what you all got going on. turned the headrest around in my truck. Drives me nuts to have my hat pushed off.
It was so lovely to see you at your family’s home interacting to see the family love and fun is great!! Thank you for allowing us to see your family. May God bless you all greatly each day !
Greetings from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Love the family dinner scene...and the entire video. We'll be back at our place in the Madison Valley June-July. Come by for my wife's mean beef stew and chicken pot pie. :)
thank you for uploading this ! very inspiring. i’ve been a wild child my whole life, come from a long line of poor farmers, dad became a businessman only for my dream since i was 11 to be a farmer lmao
I did the same thing yesterday. I split enough wood for the night and to start this morning, and woke up to 3+ inches of snow on the ground in north Idaho. So I lost that gamble.
Man, I loved seeing all the horses, but the residual warmth of seeing your family all together enjoying a good meal, that's something i think we should all strive for and I thank you for sharing that part of your life with us. Coming from the country lifestyle where we did have horses and and goats, gardens and collected and chopped wood to make it through the winter, I truly miss that chaotic yet peaceful labor, having since moved to a more suburban area. One day I'd adore to work on a ranch alongside good people like you and yours, and really find myself in it again
Its about the same as a cow, but depends on the size for sure. The main difference is that cows get much more out of their feed than a horse. A horse only has 1 stomach and doesn’t chew a cud so hay goes right through them.
Great video on the satisfaction a good day’s ranch work brings. I think being outside and doing a healthy amount of physical labor is good for the body and the mind. EDIT: I forgot to mention that your family is a great crew, and you are obviously very lucky to be able to work with them.
Always good to go along. Means a lot to me, I live through a lot of people on TH-cam. I'm sure there are a lot of us out there who go along to do things we no longer can do.
how doea a guy get a load of wood like that stack your pullin from .. nice pine logs .. we dont have much of those in ne mt .. you around great falls area ??
@@LifeintheWest ok, I see. We don't get as much brutal weather as y'all do. I'm sure that makes a big difference. We only subzero weather 1-2 weeks at a time and probably 1 to 3 times per winter. It's not common like it is for y'all
How about investing in a log splitter so you don’t need to chop so many pieces to put in the fireplace/stove? At a sale someplace of used farm machinery?
Revenue comes from kids camps and Guest Ranches that don’t want to own the horses. There is lots of demand. The biggest issue is that it has become almost impossible to find good horses to buy for a reasonable price anymore.
New State of Washington law: Now think about using an electric chainsaw only on all the wood you cut for firewood but they will not allow gas powered appliances or anything now.

Exactly. I was thinking, we shoulda borrowed the $ to get one of these!
😊😊❤❤❤ job well done..on the horses sharing food...and splitting wood..
You can enjoy those Banana cookies!!
Without a splitter he can enjoy all the sweet's he wants 😅
I purposely don’t use my splitter because it is good exercise.
Good stuff, always enjoy seeing the whole family working together
Absolutely! I love watching people working💪😁

Love your videos❤

Trinity, how is your dad doing? Hoping you filmed this a while back cause we have no snow on the ground over here in the Mission
I can’t believe you wore the new hat to work in, I thought it was the going to town hat. Great video, living the life I’ve always dreamed of!
Yes. It’s just inevitable that the town hat becomes the work hat before you plan on it. 😁
So how much hay does a horse eat compared to a beef cow??? Dad always use to say one horse (full sized) eats as much hay as five cows. (full sized )

Great video! Thanks for sharing!
the dog does not get enough credit for all the work he does.
Grunting helps. You did good.
One of our mares gives you one free shot but the rest are tough!
Like your new white gloves LOL
Grunting always helps and seems to happen more as you get older!
Two questions: How far down a dirt road do you live and why don't you use or have a garage?
Only 2 miles on gravel. Would use a garage. Just don’t have one right now. Many more important things to spend money on I guess
Good days work... 🐎 🌲 🪓 🤠
I have a 17.2 Oldenburg who has no interest in being dewormed. It's a sh$t show every time. Lol. I feel your pain.
Hey, what's the song you put at 8:30? Can't find it anywhere nut really like it.

Why do you vaccinate in the winter? We always do it in early spring
It seems like we get less sick horses if we vaccinate in December or January.

Hey Trin, is the color of your older hat "natural" felt or does it have another name?
Not sure if it is natural color or bleached. The color is light tan.
What does your dad do with that many horses?
thats alot of horses! do you breed them?
What do you guys do with all the horses?

I am curious how leasing horses generates revenue

Are these wild horses? invermection good for beast and man😊🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Why are you reusing needles?! They are like 15 cents.
Hi! Just curious, are anyone allowed to vaccinate horses in the US? Cus were i live you need a lisence
