@@wrightysfoodtours we got cheesy chive mash vegetarian sausages and onion gravy. I only liked the mash n onion gravy. Too much hype about Makars tried wont be going again.
Ross Fountain West Princes Street Gardens use to be known as Nor Loch before being drained to make way for Gardens Lovely place to be for picnic or some quiet time. As for those questioning the Garnish to me looks like Chives wich is totally different to Spring Onions which have edible bulb on end Chives don't but they are listing it on the menu as Spring Onion unless it's some sort of hybrid of them. One thing I can't get my head around is all these new restaurants and take aways etc why does just about all main items have to be alcohol driven no wonder everyone's turning into alcoholics be so nice to have alcohol free choice they might get more customers I don't drink myself neither does my friend but it did look good and yummy I must say not huge fan of Haggis tho again another thing theses places ruin it is by using far to much herbs and spices people if brought up in generation where by meals and desserts were plain simple and very old fashioned nothing fancy and over top as well as over priced old fashioned places to eat and drink are so incredibly very hard to come by these days and wen oneself finds such hidden gem you no its genuine as usually family owned for many many decades so many here in Edinburgh and other places like family butcher, bakers and fishmongers are all but long gone such shame
