I wouldn't hold my breath on them dropping the Caffeine garbage. They had been doing preliminary mini tournaments with open submissions and those were streamed only on Caffeine with them putting just the final match of each on TH-cam later. It must be a matter of making better money, because it was not a good viewing experience at all. Not sure when they're gonna be doing the actual start, but I really hope it's better than that.
Lamest thing at BATB, that you have mentioned previously in other videos, is letting losers advance. That really ruined the all women's BATB, IMO. If someone loses, they should be out until next year. No substitutes either. The opponent should get a bye. Luck, but that's the way it should go.
I hated 12 because of the bad seeding for the tournament bracket, it also just made it easy for the joes and influencers. Any normal tournament bracket all those shit joes would be facing the killers in round one thats how it works. They need to look into tennis and how they do shit over there.

a lot of BATB just doesnt feel truly competitive. many skaters seem uninterested, and rules and strategies arent really adhered to. get some sweaty tryhards in there to shake things up
It is funny to me that skaters place any importance on BATB. And I think a lot of younger skaters (newbies, mostly) think winning it all is a springboard to skate stardom; like something out of a Disney movie, where the unsponsored underdog from nowhere beats all the pros and winds up with offers from all the top companies.

If im being honest, the reason I watch BATB in general is mainly because of Luan followed by the OGs, so the table didnt come as a surprise.
