I love Phyllis she was definitely a wonderful person and woman. She was classy. She didn't have to cuss to get a laugh. She may be gone but she will be missed.
This is one of the best interviews I have seen of Miss Diller. The interviewer is excellent and doesn't interrupt her like a lot of them seem to do nowadays.

A friend of mine in NYC was her doorman at the Lombardi hotel . He described her as a generous, delightful lady . He also described her apartment decor as everything purple .
I have enjoyed many presentations by her and people like Bob Hope, Jack Lemmon, and many appearances on Ed Sullivan and other talk shows. So many great memories...
I am so sad that I never got to see her perform her and Joan Rivers are legends and I would have loved to seen her and Don Rickles Pur classic art and very genuine

All those murdered Animals made me sick. I had a fur coat in my 20s but never again. Its pure evil to do that to a living being. I stopped watching when she said Fox. They are like a cross between a Dog and a Cat. Who could do that ? 🤮🤮🤮
The culture was very different in the '60's when she acquired those. She was really such an animal lover she had large bug pets. Forgive what you saw, and I did as well.
Editing is choppy and that in itself is distracting, ruining what might've been a good segment. The other 19(I'm the 20th) who gave this a thumbs-down may well have had the same, or similar opinion.

I was very fortunate to receive a signed 8 x 10 glossy of her in Vietnam with Bob Hope shortly before she passed away. I treasure it.
My mom absolutely adored her. I think Phyllis and Carol Burnett were her idols.
What a treat of a woman :-) To be able to visit with madame Diller, sit in her scarlet scullery and hear all those stories.
She is a true legend. Unfortunately they don't make them like Phyllis Diller anymore. She paved the way for every single female comedian after her!

Phyllis once said in an interview that she originally referred to her husband as 'old fang face'. She later shortened it to 'Fang'.
Now we know why the Dean Martin Roasts were so darn funny. LOL

My Dad worked for SCE he was on call with another worker to fix the wireing at her house. They said she was so nice!

All of her furs were from animals that passed away naturally... either that, or they laughed themselves to death.
