Would you believe that I once attended the San Diego Symphony, and Phyllis Diller was on the program?? She walked onstage and everyone howled with laughter, expecting a comedy act. She sat at the Steinway Concert Grand and played a Mozart concerto, and every single person was stunned. She was an accomplished concert pianist, a fact that most people don’t know.
Love her since 1966!! She was the best and I laugh EVERY time I see her in anything! Such a talent. Modest and accomplished in many things, especially music!
Good for her! She deserves the best because she is the best. I always admired her talent, originality and she made me laugh my you-know-what off! 👍☮️🌞💖
Granted....she was very talented and a door-opener for female comediennes....but what is sad to me is that in this interview nor very few others that I know of....does she ever mention her children....her family.
I know that Phyllis was an Ohio housewife with kids before her comedy career, but I was wondering: is it just Phyllis- and maybe a servant or two- rattling through all these rooms and corridors and grounds? Where is everybody?

It says on her Wikipedia page that she was a very talented pianist.
She totally was trained in piano for a career in that vein. But something happened and she found another way...
Wow! I never knew that. Must’ve been quite a delight to see her play!😁
The way she sat down at the harpsichord and dove into that Bach, she could have had a brilliant concert career, boa and all.
she was such a lovely woman, so accomplished and yet humble. just one of a kind.
Beautiful, talented, and sadly missed. I absolutely adored her.
Phyllis is my spirit animal.. I loved her when I saw her as a child and she always was never afraid to be herself ..
????????????
What the hell are you talking about 😅

Phyllis Diller, Beautiful Home and an amazing woman! Blessings from Philadelphia, Pa.
Gorgeous lady, loved her response to gardening 😆
She reminds me so much of Audra Lindley, Mrs Roper from 'Three's Company' ❤ i never thought so as i lived thru the 70s80s the first time!
Wonderful video and even more special since I watched her appearance on Groucho Marx You Bet Your Life a little while ago I'm glad I found this video

I loved the Bach invention she was playing!
If you listen closer you can hear him burning the patent and stabbing himself in the eyes and ears. She made him proud!
I just love her home, I wished I'd seen her and the great woman herself, hashanah
Even in her later years she continued to play classically.

What an incredible woman wow 👌
2 of my favourite people.
Class act 👏
I remember watching her as a child on the Pruitts of Southampton.
I did, too. One of ABC's fish-out-of-water sitcoms. It didn't last, but was no worse than other shows.
she really got him with that hairpiece thing. LOL
She meant "herpes".
Can't believe the knocked it down
Harpsecord too. Wow! Some gal.
I wish I could have been her friend.
I got a huge painting by her done in 97. From the looks of the video it was left over paint from the kitchen. Would love to sell or get more info
“My oven has a wick.” 😂😂
shame her home was demolished.. some celebs homes should be marked as historical landmarks..
Those wig colors are what kids do today with their real hair! & They live over here on the east coast, .... not even in Hollywood!
Sad to report that her house was demolished by the new owners.
+Mr. Every Color couldn't agree more
Not a lot of respect for these fine old homes!
Very hard to believe.
what??????
I can't believe they would do that. They must be absolutely bonkers.

That's what I was hoping to see, the harpsichord.
Where is the rest of this interview??
They didn't have enough room in the time capsule, so it's in the time suppository.
🌵🌵🤣🤣👍👍🌵🌵
House was purchased for 12 million and torn down. :(

what did he say at the end of the interview? "you never mind the lawn?" what does that mean?
You never mowed the lawn?
It was.. "You've never mown the lawn.."
I believe it refers to trimming a private area of the body...
What a lovely home. I hope a drag queen inherited her closet.
Did she die in her home? I believe she did. Her publicist said she died with a smile on her face.
I hate the "illuminate" black and white floor. 😒
Her house should of been saved
какая сказка... наяву
The outside of the home is stunning, but the inside is absolutely gawdy and quite ugly.
