“What’s the point of having kids if you’re gonna just treat them like free slave labor and steal from them?” That... that *is* the point to parents like this
That’s how my mom is. She has only been interested in me when she wanted something from me, whether it’s chores or money, for as long as I can remember. It’s caused a lot of harm in my life so it’s no surprise that I’ve cut all contact with her now.
But if the kids are treated like it's okay to steal from them like that, then the kids will then respond back to them in kind. Seriously, have they never heard of the phrase "what goes around, comes around"?
1st story: She confirmed to scratching the car not once to just the owner, but a second time to police. If that case isn’t cut and dry I don’t know what is

@MissSallyB1 - Lol, why did this make me think of that one scene from the movie, "LOTR: Return of the King"? But seriously, I've always loved that scene and just how freaking awesome it made that one princess (the one who wanted to fight; I don't remember her name).

I sometimes feel like shouting “having more children isn’t going to make anything better if you don’t like the ones you have.” We made an exit plan of sorts for my friend once she graduates highschool.
I dont know why parents in poverty make more babies you are just ruining his/hers life by not providing what's needed if you cannot feed the baby then don't make any.
Children are a blessing in my opinion. Giving them a good life is how you show they are a blessing. I feel so sick when people act like having a large family when they can't afford it is God's will. Do these fools even like Children? I feel terrible for Op
@@Music-rq7kw Ok? I come from a family of 7, and although I'm still only a teenager so far nobody has been mistreated or anything in my family. If you can't provide for 3 children, don't get 3. But if you can provide for 6, why not?
@@ThePhantomCoder I think it has more to do with the attention that the parents could have to them. They could have all the money for food and materials and stuff but do they have enough time for so many kids feel loved? Or they would end up being absents parents for at least one of them without noticing? At least that's how I see it, there's a lot of parents who struggle dividing their attention with just 2 children, I can't imagine how difficult would be for some to divided for 4 or more :/
I'd call CPS on my parents if they were like that. I would rather my siblings have a chance at a normal childhood somewhere else than to be slaves in that home.

I love how the first EM just says 'I'm not apologising!' when confronted about the keying...like, she didn't even try and deny it or anything. Making it easy for the courts at least. xD
My parents jokingly say that me and my siblings are just there so that we can do all the chores and take care of our parents when we're older, but that's the thing, it's all a joke, they do more for us and take care of more chores than me and my siblings. Honestly it's awful seeing parents with such a terrible outlook and thought process on what kids are
Growing up, my parents made me do all the chores, every time, every day, 24/7, without a break. Taking out the trash, doing the dishes, vacuuming, etc, while every single time they would just sit and watch TV, and if I didn't do it one day, they got angry at me instead of doing it themselves one time. I thought it was the norm for 95% of my life until very recently. I'm appalled at my parents and how they treated me growing up.
Well, in a good parent-children relationship the parents raise the child and care for them until they have their own life, and the children care for the parents when they can't anymore. Of course only to the extent they can afford. It's better to get your parents in some sort of facility with good professional care than just be at them everyday for a short time span and having to cut work or family life for that.
It’s a calculated process. If I want my kids to be my retirement plan, I need them to respect *and* like me when I’m old. Older. Really really old. I feel like I’m giving away that I’m over 50.
Regarding the lesbian marriage, my stepdaughter is a lesbian a got married a few months ago to her wife in a very small and secular ceremony. It was really nice considering the pandemic. However, my wife's family is super evangelical and were not invited (we're atheists and we were worried they cause problems). They showed up anyway and were told they could stay if they sit quietly at the back of the room and keep their masks on (which they didn't). Before the ceremony began the my wife's parents started speaking very loudly about how their grandchild and everyone else was going to burn in hell. Fortunately, my little brother is a cop and in attendance and escorted them out. LOL! I never forget what he said: "You can leave on your own and go home or I can remove you and you go to jail. It's your choice, but you're leaving regardless." They left on their own. Another fortunate thing is that my stepdaughter and her wife didn't know anything about it until a couple of weeks later so the wedding wasn't ruined.

I don't know. I feel a lot for the unborn kid. I swear, when your would've-be-parents are such garbage and drain to your would've-been-family, that your *death* is the best alternative for everyone or you'd grow up in poverty and live with you family resenting you, is absolutely disgusting. Hope that kid's in a better place.
Though... I gotta say the daughter is also an asshole. Not for not sharing her money, but for literally wishing her parents to LOSE or KILL a kid. And then was happy when she miscarried? That whole family seems... Really disfunctional
@@matmil5 nope. The OP is right. Her siblings lives would have been hell and while it's not in very good taste I can understand her relief. If you can't provide for a child you should absolutely not have a child!

Five kids is not that much. People were easily having 8-10 kids in the Soviet Union and everyone was well fed. I’m tired of these anti kids stories. I bet r slash is an advocate of post birth abortion
The entitled aunt makes no sense. If she didn't like the OP's choices since she was 11, why would she think anyone the OP had chosen as a fiance would listen to her or care that the OP was sinning. Also, if she really cared about "saving OP from sinning" why was she more concerned with getting her into trouble with her fiance than actually helping her. Finally, why did she try to stop a wedding in front of all the guests. Obviously none of them were opposed or they would not be there. She should've tried to stop it way before it got to the ceremony.
Man unfortunately I called those parent's reaction to her visiting after the miscarriage. People like that love to blame other people for their problems, even if there's no one to blame. Especially after trauma and a huge rush of hormones that pregnancies cause. Still sucks a ton, I feel bad for everyone in that situation.
honestly thank god my parents only wanted one kid. Kids _are_ a blessing, that’s why you need to make sure you can bring them all the care and financial stability in the world.
i think you got it wrong,it is "kids are blessing to parents",meaning these kids will grow up and become slaves of their parents.the more kids, the more slaves.then financial stability of the parent comes and screw the kids...
The rabbit parents story: I am the second of 9 kids with the same religious philosophy. I had nothing(food stamps, church donations, food drives, garage sales, family and friends money loaning for utilities) and my childhood was stolen because I am a girl and am required to be a parent. It's humiliating. I am 35, childfree and this Roe ruling is tipping the point for me to just go ahead with a hysterectomy.
First, old enough to kill, old enough to drink. Second: What do they think Jesus drank? It was of course alcohol, and lots of it. Because drinking plain water in those days were a good way to contract dysentery, making you shit yourself to death.

That last story really got on my nerves. I understand the whole miscarriages are hard on expectant mothers, especially since I've had 3 in the last two years, but the way the mom blamed everything on the OP was completely uncalled for. My very first miscarriage was actually caused by the stress of my mom actually threatening to beat me and my fiancee, and my fiancee's family made it very clear she would never be allowed anywhere near me, him, or the child if and when we have kids. She got pretty p*ssed off and tried to guilt trip me into meeting up so they could "talk," but I still lost the baby. When my sister got pregnant almost 6 months after my miscarriage, she contacted me and was scared because she knew about what happened to me and was afraid something might actually happen to her. Of course, she asked me not to say anything and let her tell our parents when she was ready, and I agreed, holding up my end of the deal. You can only imagine what happened when my parents found out when she was 6 months pregnant...
The last story reminds me of something I read regarding dogs but I’ll change it slightly to make sense “All kids deserve parents but not all parents deserve kids”
First time getting here this early... so for my effort you SHOULD AT LEAST give me half of what you earn in this video, because obviously it's because of me that is going to succeed...
If you're parentified enough to, as an 18/19 year old, tell your parents they aren't capable of supporting another child and demand they get an abortion, you deserve to defend yourself and your siblings against additional pain and suffering. People who want BABIES but not CHILDREN and ADULT CHILDREN are dealing with a serious mental health issue related to their own experience as children.
I'm quite surprised the daughter of the last story didn't say to her mom: Well, god obviously doesn't want you to have anymore children and when its convenient for you, you blame it all on stress and me!

I was gonna say that too. Having a baby you can't afford is bad to be sure, but being HAPPY the baby is dead? That's a whole new level of ate up. @@ScooterBond1970 As someone who, probably if I was conceived by someone who wasn't pro-life, would have been aborted, that made my heart break. Yes it would've probably been cruel to raise a child like that, but at the same time, they are right that children are God's gift to us. That being said, a parent should be caring enough to not bring one into that environment.
Gotta love people saying "BuT tHeY hAd It BeTtEr ThAn ThOsE iN tRuE pOvErTy". Well guess what, for those kids that is true poverty. Oh they had hand me down clothes, correction, they had hand me downs they had to mooch off of extended family that look down on them cause of their situation. Those kids are probably going hungry, having to wait for their parents to beg family for essential items and they dont even get to have their childhood because they get used as free labour for the new crotch goblins her maw is firing out. And no I dont think other kids having it worse is any form of valid argument against that, just cause someone has it worse doesnt mean they dont have it bad. I'm sure hearing "oh that little orphan boy in Sudan has it much worse than you" magically fills up their plate with food does it? No, it's not a competition for who's poorer. Aye maybe op is a bit psycho with how she processed the situation but I can hardly blame her. She knows what it means, for both the siblings that actually exist and a theoretical baby that could have been, it means more poverty and standard of living for all of them
@Chris George how poor does someone have to be before its counted as "genuine poverty"? Do they have to be homeless? I'm sure plenty of people starving at home would disagree. Do they have to have no source of income? Cause again, theres plenty of families starving living off benefits or working full time. Point being, the people that are living in poverty dont care how deep into poverty they are, it's not a point scoring system. All those kids know is they're poor and looked down upon for it, why should other people being poorer discredit that? You wouldnt say the same about someone doing well. Oh look Tim just got promoted to supervisor. Well john he shouldnt be that happy, bill in africa just bought his own hotel. That makes just as much sense as what you said
I would have said (in the last story) to the mom, “GOD GAVE YOU A CHILD, BUT HE HAD SECOND THOUGHTS BECAUSE OF YOUR UNHAPPY LIFESTYLE WHERE BROTHERS AND SISTERS TAKE CARE OF EACHOTHER WHILE THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS GET YOURSELF PREGNANT!”
How dare those parents tell their CHILD she's selfish for NOT PROVIDING FOR FAMILY when her whole life THEY COULD NOT PROVIDE FOR THAT FAMILY? It is NOT a child's responsibility. There are so many more people who are irresponsible for HAVING children and forcing them to grow up with close to nothing (or absolutely nothing) than young couples who do have abortions to be responsible to NOT force the child into poverty.
for the last story, honestly, i almost laughed at how the parents are so deeply religious and say that children are god's blessings but what they fail to realize is that they are literally committing a huge sin by giving birth to so many children without thinking about the consequences of their actions. this isn't about them. it's about the children who will have to live in poverty and have to take up parenting roles for their other siblings at such a young age. their whole childhoods will be destroyed because they won't experience any childhood at all and will be thrown the parents roles. the parents are committing a sin by destroying their children's lives, giving birth to more children when they know that they can't afford to do so and thus intentionally destroying that child's life, just because they wanted to have more children, just because they were too selfish to understand that children aren't toys but real human beings that need to be taken care off, not take care of other family members and be put into this huge financial mess from such a young age. they basically don't care about how the children will feel, being poor and not being able to play outside, not being able to have what other kids their age have. they know this and even if they didn't know it at first, they would have realized it at some point. not to mention that having children isn't a decision that you just make right then and there. no. it takes time to think about it with your partner so there is no way in hell they didn't know what they were getting themselves into, yet they are deeply religious? that's total bs, I should know because I grew up in a deeply religious home, and I'm still religious.
Oh that made me mad when they blamed OP for the loss of the baby. I would've probably screamed back at my parents that they lost it because they're awful parents and they don't deserve any of their kids. Then I would tell them they're dead to me and cut contact and tell acquaintances my parents are dead.
Preach!! With all the facts that family and even OP told them, they don't want to listen and life free lives while their children suffer. I really hope they don't have anymore kids.

As a Catholic, I do believe that children are a gift from God. However, I don't believe in continuing to have kids even when you can't afford it. It's stupid, wrong, and not fair to the child you're bringing into the world. If you're going to have five or more kids like OP's family in the last story, you have to have a job that can support that many kids. You can't just assume everyone in your life is going to accommodate for you and it's not fair to deprive children of their childhood.
OP if you read this: you can be relieved that your parents aren’t having another child, while also feeling sympathy for the trauma your mother went through. She has no right blaming you.
Sure they can, stress can be a cause for miscarriage and forcing a woman to do an abortion is effed up thing to do. Op you spoiled selfentitled brat - they are better off without you.
@@LetoAtreidis lol this one wasnt caused by stress, the woman is on her 40s, the chances of that pregnancy to last 9 months were very low. She wasnt forcing her, she suggested it cuz they literally havent shown they are able to provide for the kid on their own. Seems to me you are just a troll.

For $60K, lemme guess that car was something high end, like a Ferrari or McLaren. Those kinds of cars ARE loud but you can't change the volume. OP's bro is kind to let OP learn stick on it 'cause those are expensive transmissions to fix. EVERYTHING on those cars is expensive.
@@adamski9936 LOL. Electric cars don't tend to make noise like a Maserati, for example. But even a Maserati should be a cheaper fix than $60K. Moreover, I highly doubt electric cars have manual gearboxes. A low end (relatively) fun manual gearbox is on a Subara WRX. I've heard some loud ones of those but they aren't $60K to repair for a car keying. (I lol'd but thought some might think you were serious.)
My parents were the exact same way except they weren't Karens luckily. My Mom had her first kid at age 22 then had her second at 24 then her 3 at 29,and her 4 at 32 and her 5 at 36. They were Christian and did believe that children would make you so much more happier and it was a blessing. I was the 3rd child of 2 girls and 3 boys. My Mom treated me and my sis as a servent. We cooked, cleaned, help school my younger brother before he went to kindergarten. My older brothers didn't have ANY jobs or responsibilitys at ALL, when they all turned 17 I was extremely worried for them as they had NO idea what the real world was like when they would move out. 1st brother that moved out came back to live at our parents house as he got evicted. Same with my second he got a nice apartment and then after a month he came back. My parents during all of this would go to work come home. If my brothers ever needed money they would give it to them. If I even brought the subject up of going out with my friends or asking for money I had to do more chores. Thankfully I had good friends and good younger siblings who were always secretive when I had my friends come to my house. I could tell they hated it because of dirty diapers and whiny kids so I either always had them come around nap time and play outside so we could hang. BUT one day my parents come over to help my older brothers out by giving them their money early. When they found out they told my friends to leave and then said "why did you have friends over" "you need to be a proper young lady and worry about your brother" I never got to hangout with them anymore after that as my older brothers got extra money of they came by the house at 3 (that's nap time). When I turned 17 I started applying to college when I got in one I was Soo happy. I never told anyone about this except for my sister . When I turned 18 I moved out I was ecstatic as soon as I blew out my candles, I hugged everyone and packed up my stuff and caught a bus to my new apartment. I let my sister and younger brother come visit me, but never my parents or older brothers come because my brothers got tired of listening to crying anymore of my parents new baby. YEAH their 6th child so they wanted to move in with me. I of course said no as they wouldn't get a job or work or cook or clean or help pay rent they in fact were already failing their classes at school. I felt terrible for my sis but she said she would be that she knew what I had to do for her and younger brother and that she knew I was always tired and terribly upset and that it was her turn to help out.
This is a long comment so brace yourself: My parents are religious people, especially my mother. I grew up in a family of 7, and had major financial issues throughout my life. My parents gave birth to so many kids because they wanted a son (all of us are daughters), but they gave up after the 5th daughter (a.k.a. my younger sister). They were open about the fact that they wanted a son, and that they didn't plan to have so many kids. And they did believe that God had planned them to have 5 kids, but instead of having free slave labor to my oldest sisters, they actually paid babysitters to take care of the younger ones, planned ways to cater to us equally, spent money wisely to feed each of us, and over all, we all turned out to be nice and loving people. To this day, I'm impressed on how they managed to raise 5 healthy kids while broke throughout my childhood. Not once did any of us spend a day without food or shelter. I do agree that OP's mother is a disgusting person for having so many kids with no plan on how they're gonna raise them. Especially since OP tried to comfort her mother after learning about the discharge, only for her mother to verbally attack her and blamed her for the death of the baby. I understand what grief can do, but it does sound like she was an unsupportive mother from the start.
Karen: "I keyed your car! What are you gonna do about it?! I'm not apologizing!!" Police: *Arrests her* Karen: *Surprised Pikachu Face* The national sign of a Karen might as well be the Surprised Pikachu Face.
I’m not saying lower income people shouldn’t have kids but they shouldn’t have more then two. Three at the most. I grew up poor but at least I didn’t starve or go without things like new toys (Christmas and birthdays only) or cloths. My mum was sensible with her money and has taught me to be the same.
6:00 If I was OP I would be all like "Because I am a grown ass adult, and as a grown ass adult only the LAW can tell me what I am or am not allowed to do. If God has some sort of problem with what I'm doing, then issue between me and God, not me and you. In short, you have no authority over me, so you telling me to stop drinking beer does not mean even an iota of shit to me." Also you gotta love how the aunt seems to think that OP's fiance, whom she clearly thought was a dude, also has the authority to tell OP what she is and isn't allowed to do. Like that's some actual misogyny right there. So long as you're not cheating on your romantic partner, or in general doing things that are very illegal/immoral, I don't see why your partner should care about what you do with your life. You are their partner, not their property. Edit: In regards to the last post, I'd argue that the mom miscarrying just might be solid proof that there really is a God after all. If He's really giving people babies as a "gift" the way the parents seem to think, then maybe this is God's way of saying they don't need anymore "gifts", especially when they proved they can't be trusted to be responsible for the "gifts" they already have.
@jane lam TH-cam isn't pandering towards either of those things they're pandering towards advertisers who have gotten power hungry. If you really think these changes are made for the viewer than goddamn you got to do better research on TH-cam's policies.
1st story: knowing your right doesn't protect you if you commit vandalism like how the hell did that moron think that was going to end i mean she even straight up confessed to the crime as well 2nd story: that is why I don't like blind faith in religion i think religion is fine in moderation but people who site it like it's law tend to be rude and unforgiving towards something they view as "wrong" 3rd story: those parents need to keep it in their pants and learn that kids are not something to just keep making without real plans beyond screwing over the other children and asking for handouts
Honestly, I'm not at all surprised by the mother blaming the OP in the last story. It's disgusting, but that's how people like that think. I'm a bit surprised she thought she'd be able to comfort her. I'm glad she tried. She's definitely better off away from them.
If I didn't know better that last story sounds like one of my elder sisters. She's currently living in a motel with 3 babies and her dead beat "Man" who can't hold down a job. She refuses to get help or dump him so she can apply for housing that would be paid for by the state until she gets a steady job. This sister even had the nerve to announce her 4th pregnancy (her eldest isn't living with her and is living with one of her aunts she's better off honestly) the day our grandfather died. She is in no position to be having children yet her "Man" seems to have a latex allergy or something. Still though I feel like OP could have handled this situation a little better, it's okay to be upset but suggesting their parents get an abortion is going too far. Yes Op's parents are wrong but Op isn't helping the situation, granted I've never had to give up anything for a younger sibling as I am the youngest, but that has lead to it's own problems.
Actually I disagree, even though the option of abortion seems horrible but it is the best solution for the family especially the siblings. Imagine your life just being a home slave to ur parents just to do work and let them have ur inheritance because they won't stop fucking and getting babies. It's so selfish of them and a abortion would be better of for the unborn child as well as rest of the siblings.
shane well, i did and still do take care of my niece when she visits mom’s house, I took more care of her than her own mother when they lived at mom’s house. And just because it’s the “best choice” doesn’t give Op the right to say it. I’m not saying Op doesn’t have the right to be upset but she could have handled herself a lot better than throwing such a tantrum. And having also watched most of my nephews and nieces i can tell you that was a tantrum fit for a three year old. I understand the last story. When you are relying on every possible aid your state offers to provide for the kids you have, why have ANOTHER. I have 4 little brothers and remember winters without heat, losing my youth to baby sitting, and constantly hearing gripes about how difficult it was to dress, feed, and over all, manage 5 kids. I started getting angry myself when mom popped out MORE when we were ALREADY UNCOMFORTABLY POOR ALL THE TIME. Never any birthday parties, scool sports, and not even money to buy a single snack at the store.
“What’s the point of having kids if you’re gonna just treat them like free slave labor and steal from them?”
That... that *is* the point to parents like this
But that's what kids are for other then stealing money, what do you think chores are? It's practically free labor and it teaches them responsibility.
Y e s.
That’s how my mom is. She has only been interested in me when she wanted something from me, whether it’s chores or money, for as long as I can remember. It’s caused a lot of harm in my life so it’s no surprise that I’ve cut all contact with her now.
M . K o . Mm
But if the kids are treated like it's okay to steal from them like that, then the kids will then respond back to them in kind.
Seriously, have they never heard of the phrase "what goes around, comes around"?
“You invited my daughters so you invited me”

Another fortunate thing is that my stepdaughter and her wife didn't know anything about it until a couple of weeks later so the wedding wasn't ruined.

I’m a hugger, wonder how many Karen’s thought I was a woman of the night because I literally hug everyone 🤣 this pandemic has been hard but at least I have my puppies to hug.
As soon as they said mom lost the baby, I knew seeing OP would be a terrible idea, that they would blame the loss on her. Yep, I was right.
Uno reverse card

This is a long comment so brace yourself:
My parents are religious people, especially my mother.
Everywhere I look I only see first comments and that one comment that only says S

In short, you have no authority over me, so you telling me to stop drinking beer does not mean even an iota of shit to me."
Also you gotta love how the aunt seems to think that OP's fiance, whom she clearly thought was a dude, also has the authority to tell OP what she is and isn't allowed to do.
Entitled mom:I want to have children because of god’s blessing.
Op:you are literally in debt
Entitled mom:Give me your inheritance then.

1st story: knowing your right doesn't protect you if you commit vandalism like how the hell did that moron think that was going to end i mean she even straight up confessed to the crime as well
2nd story: that is why I don't like blind faith in religion i think religion is fine in moderation but people who site it like it's law tend to be rude and unforgiving towards something they view as "wrong"
3rd story: those parents need to keep it in their pants and learn that kids are not something to just keep making without real plans beyond screwing over the other children and asking for handouts
Honestly, I'm not at all surprised by the mother blaming the OP in the last story. It's disgusting, but that's how people like that think. I'm a bit surprised she thought she'd be able to comfort her. I'm glad she tried. She's definitely better off away from them.
3:13 something I’ve learned from watching a lot of arrest videos is that people who say “I know my rights” in fact do not know their rights
How entitled do you have to be for something like this?
Welcome to Rslash, where we say "kill," "abort" and "termination" talking about human life, but "miscarried" is BLURRED OUT.
Like i said just because it’s “the right decision” doesn’t give you the right to say it
also if you were confused as to who would be my older sister in this situation the mother is not OP.
If that crazy aunt had been my aunt (or any relative spewing garbage), I would've lost my cool regardless of how many people there were
