Not sure why some people are upset about the pattern on the straight planks. I thought they could be laid in a step pattern or a brick pattern. I like herringbone or straight planks (brick pattern or stepped) just not sure both together. Great work though
We only do it if the pieces come already cut for the arrows last time we had to cut them the lady was mad because they weren’t perfect and some stick out a little bit my dad told her she could buy the factory more money or we do it the best we can
God help the man that has to pull that up.
That looks amazing, I wish u showed us more of the herringbone 😊
I thought laminate needs to float? And a wood sub floor will have movement causing flooring to buckle since you glued and pin nailed?
This is not laminate, it's engineered hardwood floor. Real wood with a finished thick veneer on top and it can be both glued and nailed.
Not laminate
Lot of skill and thought went into that floor looks amazing 👏
clean installers love to see it
Step pattern install😮
So glad I don’t want to do this no more but the wood colour looks fantastic
It looks amazing
Great job 100%
That wallpaper is... remarkable
Love it

Good lord that floor is hurricane proof
Why the steps on board layout? Was this a client decision? 🙉
That compound is a bitch when you’re tryna change the flooring or fix something 🫠🙃
I feel like someone is going to drag me down if I walk on it 🤣

Oh my lord, the stepping on the straight boards. I would have you redo it if I was the customer.

Straight all the way. I personally
I think herringbone looks very dated
That’s a lot of peanut butter 😢😮
Large boards require glue and fasteners.
I think why do you need to stick it down? Just let it float
It’s engineered hardwood and because the boards connect via tongue and groove you can’t float it. Has to be fasten with nails or glue, or both.
Hope it’s not that faux wood stuff bc it sounds like you’re walking around a retirement facility. Herringbone is a great look.
I think I think it looks good, not for me, though.
Mhmm peanut butter
Skirting should have come off for definite
All that effort and u butt the flooring up to the trim instead of cutting the trim and sliding it under the trim??
Why glue cheap laminate floor
Glue should set for about 30 minutes before install
Not for most hardwood glues. If you let it set 30 mins it would skin over. The glues I use anyways.
