That way the entire environment wouldn't have to be coded to be destructable or moldable, but that you had several paths you could dig that was "softer" than the granite around it that the game built as you dug along.
Wow. The beauty, attention to every detail, and all-around Dwarf love is amazing.
Thank you SO much :) it's one of my biggest goals to put as much detail as possible :)
DUDE the game of being a Dwarf Subnatutica that you describe is EXACTLY what I want!
I like the metallurgical trial/error approach. Its going to be a little treat for scrappers and casters who already know bronze formulas (which is closer to 90% - 10% IIRC in an insulated forge cant do it with just a mapp gas torch... but i guess they dont want to make you use too many ores), iron/tin/copper/steel melting points, etc.
Ive not made bronze but ive melted copper and aluminum in a backyard forge i have. And melted steel by mistake when i left my piece to long and get to hot lol
Fantasy games definitely need more games that focuses on Dwarven heroes and culture, they are BADASS.
It takes a good geologist to find us all these GEMS!
My eyes rolled so hard and I loved every second of it, Haha!
This game deserves to be successful. I just found out about it today, and I'm highly impressed with the details and overall asthetic!
WHen all you have is an axe, everything looks like a tree... even ore. XD
I played the demo and loved it. It's now on my wishlist. The music, the set design, the theme, the humor and story unfolding. I just want it all!
Awesome! Glad you like it! :) would be great if you'd join our discord discord.gg/szEpMEvwCC and become an active part of development! By applying to the player's guild you get the chance to play new features before everyone else, and also provide feedback :)

Protect the Dwarves! ✊😮
To arms! 🪓🏔⛏
TH-cam algorithm be praised for delivering this to me.
I was in on /v/ years ago and someone pitched this exact idea in a lotr thread. Though it took place in Moria. Crazy that it was actually made.
the plans for smelting bronze were in the smithing book you picked up under the section called alloys
YES!!!!!!! There just isn't enough good dwarven games. Downloading demo now.
This was awesome! Tbh I think that the "bronze thing" was a cool touch, you actually had to find out what it took to fuse them, as they would when first discovered.
I hate spiders irl but have never been spooked by spiders in game, but THIS game seems to really capture the spooky aspect that I hate about spiders really well!

I can't wait to play. I'm a dwarf at heart.
Aye, dawri, it's time for a dwarven shield wall!
This is so NOT proof of concept…this is proof of FANTASTIC CONCEPT!!! FUGGIN’ SEND IT!!!
Haha, thank you so much!
I am so hyped for this !
This game is so promising, I hope we'll see more of it soon enough !
See you under the mountain, brother! 🏔⛏💎
A coin weighs 0.10 units. A key weighs 0.10 units, a Broad Axe weights 22.29 units. A Spoon weighs ... 7.73 units? That is one heavy spoon. It's like, 1/3 of an Axe! It weighs as much as 77 keys or 77 coins.
Dwarves and their spoons... 🏔🥄😏
Hope you guys did not miss the Halloween update! 🎃⛏
being a Geologist makes not a Metallurgist ... love ya still bro. greatest gaming channel on the Tube
I like how you can choose to be left or right handed, first time seeing that in a game. By the way shout out to all the lefty’s out their in the comment section👍🏻🍺
You play Skyrim?
The runes that translate when you look at them is one of the coolest mechanics I've seen
“Why a spoon, brother?”
“Because it hurts more, you idiot.”
[The] Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon!
@SplatterCatGaming
Been busy with life and haven't seen your stuff in a while. I love your game choices, and your style Splatty. You have certainly grown into an even better version of yourself as of late. Keep up the great work my friend. 👍

i am painting my Dwarf Army while i am watching this!
I LOVE the attention to detail and the readable books. This is going to be a winner.
Man I'm soo with you about those brightness blooms. We need magical glasses that can be adjusted to countermand that. At least some options. It seriously kills my eyes too. Loved the game tho. Thanks for showing it.
This has been on my wishlist for a while It makes me want to play it more
I subbed because your always playing uncommon games. I like indie games and I feel like the best games I've played in the last few years have been from indie developers
Very cool and interesting game, Thanks for putting it on my radar...

@@michelarimensberger-sycofo2387 Thank you!
Please please Lord, let this have co-op!
And animations with a bit more oomph would be nice too.
I AM the target audience for this game, yet had no idea it existed. Thank you, algorithm.
Thought the same when I first saw the prototype of this game back in the days!
The perfect thing to play while jamming out to Diggy Diggy Hole 😄
Ohh boy do I wish I'd checked in and seen your video today before I went ahead and tried out the demo. You're not the only one that took ages to get the bronze XD
My inner dwarf is super in love with the idea of a Dwarven survival game, I hope this goes the distance and doesn't end up as a shallow railroad.
We're giving our best that it won't! In the meantime, please join our discord discord.gg/szEpMEvwCC and stay up-to-date with the development process! getting feedback from dwarven fans is really valuable and important to us!
