You literally could not ask for a better entrance in a game than Saccharina’s. And for her to just immediately go with the off-putting mean girl voice was *chef’s kiss* I also need to know what in the Freudian fuck Brennan was on when he decided “Yeah, if Jet dies, breaking the hearts of her family and friends, let’s bring Emily back playing someone who seems like she’s trying to replace that hole in the party AND through the actor, is wearing the same fucking face as the dead princess they all loved but is also politically exactly what they need right now.” Only in D&D.
In love with idea of this deadpan monk who can absorb the life essence of the enemies he killed and has a deep understanding and connection with death and cries at the drop of a hat when faced with a magical item
Jet and Ruby riffing so effortlessly in the Thaddeus disguise and cover story.... "tèll evehryone how queick i æm,,, and my dick iz verhy small!!,,".... the way its right after a really harrowing death or two and they instantly bring life and joy back to the campaign with the power of their sibling shenanigans.... fuck i miss Jet SO MUCH
I used to think that way too which is why it really took me a long time to get started on it, and I nearly missed out on one of the best series on D20. The Adventuring Party zoom episodes help out a lot. Eases the tension out before the next ep. They really do.
I cannot get enough of this series. I wish I didn’t watch it first before any other D20 season. Now I crave violence and fantasy political intrigue and I just can’t watch a bunch of high schoolers solving mysteries or whatever the other seasons are 🤦🏻♀️ #simpsforsaccharina EDIT: though this is still my favorite season, I have watch FH and TUC and I now love those, too. Mostly for their darker second seasons 😊 Starstruck just ain’t hitting that drama for me but it’s still funny!
To be fair i started with Fantasy High and after a crown of candy? It's still all i crave, the violence, the politics,,, the drama. The new season of a starstruck odessy does fulfil that craving however!
I love when we get a peek into Emily and Murph's (obviously very minor) marital strains. Every relationship has moments like this, I'm not saying their marriage is in any trouble, it's just charming to see such a quintessential "bickering couple" moment from them, lol

Murph was back seat driving. He didn't need to help her, they have been playing for the exact same amount of time as both know that game insanely well. Also her characters were pissy not her. Jet because she was a brat and Saccharina because she wasn't good with people after a life of abuse. Don't get pissy because Emily's good at acting and playing D&D.
