Hes only 51 Welder 😂😂 and he just got funnier and better with age. He can just go from joking to singing beautifully - not a note wrong - John and Lisa - she was his backing vocalist for over 30 years and would still be today if he ever sung again - just the best. Love this performance. John's humour at the start and then slipping seamlessly into the most beautifull singing. And Lisa was not thrown by his antics and accompanied him perfectly.
There is another video of this, must be from another night, but Lisa actually stitches him up (doing the bu bwa bwa back at him at the time he is supposed to) and he cracks up and struggles to get his giggling under control. Lisa is actually in a similar league as him, when she lets rip she has the most beautiful and most powerful voice. Lisa, Venetta and Lindsey complement him perfectly as backup singers.
If you want another song where he brings up his background singers to knock your socks off, you MUST listen to him sing Amazing Grace with Venetta and Lindsey.
