I added the K&N intake to my 2012 Camry V6, and finally added the Borla exhaust cans. It sounds so nice. Nice mellow rumble and not loud and obnoxious.
@beerus6683 Yes, I noticed a bit more power, but may not be noticeable to most people. You might gain 2hp from the CAI and maybe 5hp from the borla exhaust. It's not much but seems to perform a bit better. It's still enjoyable and the car sings when you are on the throttle.

Hello nitro neeks, I want to ask you about the air sensor, what did you do to it, was the intake detailing done in a store, or did you simply cancel the air sensor, knowing that it is not possible to cancel the air sensor?
If you are referring to the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor, I did not get rid of it. The aftermarket intake system relocated the sensor, so it was still usable. There were a few vacuum hoses that were no longer needed, so I capped them off with the supplied rubber caps and relocated them away from the intake section. I cleaned the MAF sensor myself with a specialized cleaner that you can pick up at my auto part stores.
Chris Gainey a few of them go to the little sensor that sticks on the side of the air box. The other two, I plugged with screws and wrapped with tape. Then I hid them.
I put a cold air intake on my 06 Avalon and after about a week of having it it started misfiring on every cylinder so I took it off went back to factory and it fixed the problem. Only thing is that I don’t understand why it made it misfire if someone knows how I could put it back on and fix that issue it would be greatly appreciated
Did the CAI feel loose at all? A loose air intake may cause a lean condition in the engine, leading it to misfire and cause damage to internal engine components. It may also adversely affect performance and throttle response.
@@NitroNeeks once it started doing it I checked the hose clamps to make sure they where tight especially against the throttle body and everything was tight and snug that’s when a shop has told me to take it off and put the factory intake system back on the car
@@danielpineur8649 Did you reinstall the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor after installing the air intake? Did you have any left over vacuum lines or ones that didn’t go to any fittings?
@@danielpineur8649 I had two lines left over. I plugged them and zip tied them to a nearby hose. Make sure there is no way for air to pass through those lines.
