Your story reminds me of my experience moving into a hall of residence, had no pillows or anything, just like you, we checked in at night abd I just had to sleep on my coat wrapped in another coat, because it was so cold! Gladly I had a towel :) regardless of all the things i was missing the first few days i felt very happy calm and content, at least I remember it that way :)
May I wish you a very warm (but awfully late) welcome to England. You will have such fun and a few traumas, but you will survive and rise above it all. This experience will change you and you will go home a stronger, more confident and mature person. I look forward to watching future vlogs of all your adventures. omg how old is your daughter? my parents traveled internationally with my brothers and i when we were super young - have no idea how they pulled it off but i still remember it even though i was six!!! i will hopefully vlog my trip to spain and i will send u any recs i have ❤️❤️❤️
@@BriMarie17 She is 5 months old ☺️ just a “wee little baby” (yes, I totally said that in a British accent lol I also have a habit of doing that 😂)But, we are hoping maybe when she’s around 2 or 3 years old to make that trip! And yes, would love any recommendations you have 🥰🥰
I am also from Indiana and just graduated from IU south bend my last course was a study abroad to Belize for marine biology for 11 days and omfg it was so amazing. I’m so excited to watch your journey I’d LOVE to go to London. I also mimic accents and I’m like I promise I’m not making fun of people 😂😂

awww yeah it reminded me so much of freshman year of college when i moved in and felt so weird but excited and happy in my new space!!!
