i am moving from greece to london in september! i am currently looking into phone services and bank account stuff, i am currently signed with vodafone but i've heard it's not exactly ideal for london? and i was planning on using revolut, i already have an account, but would you recommend monzo instead? how different is it and how exactly does it work? i was planning on lonking my greece bank card to my revolut acc and transfer money weekly like that, but would you say that using transferwise is better?
Vodafone works absolutely fine in the London, in fact all carriers are fine so wouldn't worry about that. Revolut will be fine to pay for things but I'd recommend making a Monzo as in the UK revolut technically isn't a bank and is just a digital wallet (they just got their UK banking licence but I don't think they offer bank account yet). So I'd recommend getting things like your salary from your job paid into an actual bank account like Monzo as you'll have more protections. Hope you enjoy your time in London!
