Awesome Wigwam Longhouse

Working in a Lenape village is pretty cool! This is the new wigwam Longhouse for our programs. I take you on a small tour and show you some of the cool features of the longhouse and a couple other structures and features in our Lenape village. These wigwam houses are an ingenious design and a great idea for building in your back yard as a retreat or fort to enjoy some R&R. This design is a great shelter to build and makes an awesome idea for building forts or hunting lodge. #forts #longhouse #Nativeamerican

I take it that is a summer long house because if it isn't it's going to be air conditioned real well during the winter. Looking at this video on my cell phone on your friends looks your friends workmanship looks excellent.

Yeah, in the cooler months it would be covered like the other hut. With Tulip tree bark. We use these for our classes

Yeah, so well constructed. I don't hear many spooky sounds in that area, maybe the Coyotes but that's a beautiful sound. Can't wait to sleep in them.
