It's really lame that when you upgrade it removes the special effect the weapon had. I find a weapon with a great special effect, but less damage output, so I figure I'll temper it, then its perfect and obviously better than what I have cause special effect too. But nooooooo, game eats the special effect. Gone forever.

that musta been a bug thats since been addressed as iv just upgraded a white machete with a chance to poison upto green and it still has the effect
I have 19 of each and cant upgrade any either 😢 ty anyway tho! 🤷🏽♀️

That kinda sucks to be fair. You can't even make stuff legendary? So the only way is to steal tier 5's?😂
Indeed, you can't craft legendary weapons, but it seems that you know the way to get them.😉
