I swear to god after that other strand auto I was expecting this to be a bust so I didn’t even stream with the gun today. I wish I had played with this gun live I legit was having a lot of fun with it. the 720’s are legit usable as long as the map isn’t HUGE. Overall good experience will be using it from time to time on stream
720s have a similar or slightly quicker ttk than most SMGs and have 4/5/6m range advantage over them, the only problem with them is that they require 100% headshots (10 crits) for optimal tkk. Target Lock on this thing makes it way more forgiving and means it can more than compete with SMGs.
@@jaydenharrison1436 720 Autos have a 0.77s ttk. 600 SMGs have a 0.8s ttk, 750 SMGs have a 0.77s ttk, 900s have a 0.73s ttk. So I’d say that considering they have a faster ttk than one archetype, the same ttk as one archetype and are only slower than one archetype that falls under “similar or faster than most”. The massive breakdowns spreadsheet gives you the ttks in one place instead of needing to look up individual weapons. Foundry is good for perks and range values though.
@@jaydenharrison1436 Massive breakdown has the option to swap resilience levels. Again, Foundry is good for other things like perks, range drop of, handling etc. But specifically for ttk and raw numbers on weapons the massive breakdowns spreadsheet has way more information.
@@jaydenharrison1436 It's literally only Hunters that aren't running 100 Resilience these days. Regarding the melee whiff at 1:23, if the fire button is held while trying to melee, the game will always default to using an uncharged melee instead. There's actually some benefit to knowing how to make use of this. Try it! It didn't take long to get the muscle memory down. From a stand still either double Y (double Q for me) or sprint forward for a split second, and in the frames where the gun is coming back up hold fire and tap melee to bypass any keybinds. It's great to use so you can, as an example, keep your thunderclap charge when you have knockout already up, or to melee lunge something about to slam so you dont get pushed back while you are running throwing hammers or whatever.
Thanks for this. I'm gonna have to try it. Pocket singularity doesn't do optimal damage, so I end up dead a lot because I'll go to melee and not realize it's charged.
Lmao boy acting like he found something revolutionary. Change the mf keybind. The real issue is when the game uses a regular melee when you spam the charged melee keybind.

Not sure about pvp but enhanced target lock does do something, it increases the damage buff you get. It's actually one of the best enhanced perks you can get cause it straight increases damage instead of duration or an activation time decrease.
The increase is only to the damage of Target Lock ×5 from 40% to 45%, however you're literally never going to get to x5 in pvp unless someone goes afk in a Well lol. So for pvp, enhanced has no additional benefits

youre never reaching 2 stacks even, target lock in pvp on 720s doesnt do a whole lot, youre way better off with something like tap the trigger because of how late in the kill it procs (this is caused by its deep mag, which other 720s have) and thats why the immortal isnt in the same boat, it benefits significanly because you fire like half your mag for 1 kill
Still really like my Krait. Hammer forged, ricochet, compulsive (almost always up with the huge mag) and Adagio with a range MW. Adagio is just so good especially on 720s it’s insane

Gentlemen of the crucible please hear me, after carefully going through the video I counted 32 times that target locked was activated. Of those 32 times 3 of them actually helped in the weapons performance, one was when he gunned down the well and the other two were enemies that were a little to far away but target locked negated the damage fall off, and on top of that after running the numbers all target lock does for the gun is allow one extra body shot to not affect the optimal TTK only on tier ten resil players. What this means is that, while it is fun, not having target locked will not change the weapon performance by too much, if at all, due to this I suggest everyone to instead seek a roll with full bore, ricochet, moving/perpetual, tap, and a range master work. Thank you for your time gentle men, happy hunting and I hope to see you all at the crucible soon☕️
