Mi 10 Ultra is the real Ultra. Fantastic stabilization, stunning photos though Mi 10T Pro is not that far from Mi 10 Ultra.
And when they realise very good phone like Ultra or 10X Pro unfortunately it's NOT global!

For overall, Mi 10 Ultra is on different level. Definitely a flagship level camera set-up.
For overall 550€ it's quite disturbing how Tpro is close to ultra in some core camera features and that's without any update.For me the winner is Tpro beacuse ultra is not 500€ better phone than Tpro who has same lpddr5 and 144hz and better battery and flagship sensor and Tpro is a beautiful looking phone compare to ugly back in mi ultra.

I would say that the colors of Xiaomi 10T Pro are more beautiful and less "digital look".
Legend has it that the local people have already gotten accustomed to Chris running around with 2-3 phones in his hands and have stopped giving him that weird look a long time ago...😋

I think the key factor is the optical image stabilization. For some stills the focus/sharpness is mentioned as an issue, but I guess it blur from camera shake. Great comparison!

I like how you actually say specially which is the closest to the real scenario, most realistic. One would think the other is better just because it has more saturated colors, but it's not realistic representation. However, many people would prefer slightly oversaturated colors, which is, like you said, personal preference perhaps. To me the color accuracy is always no.1 priority, as well as some decent low light performance.
Yes I prefer closet to real life colour with my photos.
you can always use gcam. Google's algorithm is always *THE BEST* at real-life representation
I will give it to mi 10 ultra definitely the best camera performance Xiaomi ever made i dont know because of the sensor or they improved the processing in that device

Woow .. a new species of .. cheetah .. Chris !!! Who know how to make absolutely enchanting reviews!!! Joke aside, I think Chris was faster in running than I managed to push LIKE!!! Coming back to phones, with small commas, Mi 10 ULTRA is ULTRA. That doesn't mean the Mi 10 T Pro is a bad phone. If you look at it as a whole, it looks really good, considering that it is the global version. But, intrinsically, technically speaking, the Mi 10 Ultra is clearly my favorite. The main sensor of Mi 10 Ultra, Omnivision, I don't think has a technical correspondent on the phone market at the moment, and only software optimizations and algorithms make a difference in some cases. And if there will be a comparison in the future with other flagships like Iphone 12 Pro Max, I would be even happier if Mi 10 Ultra will run with the latest software updates. So, congratulations to Chris and I'm waiting for the next review.
😂 I ran so fast it hurt. But yes that Ominvision main sensor is something. The OIS works like no other I've seen even when off it's almost as steady as EIS until you run or jump about.
Any advice on best camera settings? I found 4/3 is best compared to full screen. But don’t know what else to tweak

IMHO, nowadays top smartphones can replace entry-level DSLR cameras in all but the some very specific situations. Thanks for review!
Front facing Camera quality for both Video and Photo, I think 10T Pro is better. The Video has better color and no focusing issues whereas 10 Ultra was sometime over exposing your face and the background during daylight photos. For main rear camera, apart from the color, I think 10 Ultra's videos and images are bit brighter and has more details on the shadows.
except for ultrawide video - I think this is a victory for ultra.

I was very surprised to see that EIS works at 1080P resolution and 60 frame rate on the Mi 10T Pro, but on my Mi 10T Pro EIS only works on 30 frame rate. Do I have to do anything special to activate it?

There is no EIS on the 10T Pro 4k60 , but when EIS does kick in (for all other modes) it does a far better job than 10 Ultra.
Note how the mountains in the background shake in the 10 Ultra footage, especially while he's running!
Off topic question, since it's possessed ois/eis... Is a gimbal still relevant for it? Or... Both gimbal & phone with eis/ois can work together?
Not really now. But it will make it even more smoother if used.

By the way, may I ask what the fifth "lens" in the Mi 10T Pro? There's three cameras and one LED flash, then another that I don't know
Not lens, it's light sensor.
Omnivision's sensor is so much better than HMX 108MP of Samsung. I really hope that lots of smartphones would adapt more Omnivision sensors in the future.

You stay in a stunning area! I never get bored of your camera comparisons. I prefer the contrast on the 10TP. Pro also looks better on the sprint. Ultra has Low Light and DR waxed. I hope they can fix the jutter on the Ultra in an update and don't neglect the software on it.

Good review. Indeed the ultra gave much more details all together and better stabilization. But, the pro tend to have better white balance and the colors it provide looks nicer and deeper. It's like to choose between pro canera vs Instagram camera...
Very true! Mi 10 Ultra only had the best white balance at night. And in video and day shots is a little more saturated and bit too much contrast. But great OIS on the 48MP sensor even with EIS off it's quite smooth.
In my opinion, the Mi 10 Ultra looks more saturated, more bright, and have a sharper detail, but suprisingly the 10t Pro does not fall much behind, considering the price, the 10t Pro really is a great value for money choice, so i think i'll buy the 10t Pro, thanks for the great video
What is tge best among mi note 10 pro, mi 10 pro 5g and mi 10 ultra?
There is a bit of a gap especially in video and lowlight photos. For daytime photos and 1080p video though there is not a significant difference

Please the thing is that also professional DSLR cameras in Automode don't expose properly or the white balance is wrong etc. So it is too much to Judge a smartphone camera sensor just from the Auto settings.

Sure is and maybe the best OIS I've ever seen in a sensor module. Even when recording 8K the OIS is almost as good as EIS+OIS until you run about.

The Ultrawide 4k60 on Mi10T Pro seems a little bit good than Mi 10 Ultra. I like how Mi10T Pro retains the color and pop up the saturation a bit while the Mi10 Ultra it seems it soften on some part.

I need some help choosing a phone. Since Mi 10 Ultra isn't available in my county, I am going for Mi 10T Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (exynos version) and Huawei nova 5t. Someone please tell me which option here is the best. Both Xiaomi and Samsung are 360 euros with nova 5t being 290. Which phone would you go for and why?
As a photographer, I prefer the Ultra. I thank you very much for this comparison. It helped me to make jo my mind as to which of the two I am going to buy. I had the intention to follow for the MI 10 PRO because of the flat surface ( I dislike the curvy borders), but after watching the results, my mind is set for the Ultra. Thanks again.

@@nicetrayyy Not a fan of big screen phones. That's why I'm still sticking to my 2yr old Mi 8 Se. Battery life is still good even after 2 yrs. Consistently getting 6-7 hrs sot in a charge. Still good in my book lconsidering the 3k mah battery. Btw, it's running on Pixel experience plus.

Why no 1080p video comparison? I personally never use 4k video as it takes a lot of space and all social networks would limit video quality to 1080p. Plus stabilization would be much better in 1080p mode.

Mi 10 ultra is really good. But still it comes to personal preference about selfies and all. You should do iphone 12 pro max vs xiaomi mi 10 ultra. Knowing it's really hard in terms of money you can just ask for a review unit from Apple. And i believe they will provide you one for quite some time. Overall I like the 10 Ultra stills and videos more than the 10TP. Definitely the winner in my book. For the price though the 10TP probably the better choice if you dont really pixel peep a lot or demand the best on night shots/video.
