Nancy still does that move today when they play this song. Saw them in April and they can still bring the house down and put one hell of a show
That song just absolutely kick a$$! The Wilson sisters are an unstoppable force of nature.
The male members of the band were incredible also. I still enjoy heart now, but they lost something when the sisters forced Steve Fossen: Bassist
Roger Fisher: Guitarist and mandolin player
Mike Fisher: Drummer and producer out of the band. They never had another song that sounded like Magic Man.
This song exemplifies why Nancy Wilson is one of the best guitarists out there.
I was married, and my wife and I had our first daughter in 1978, and I had stopped going to rock concerts. I did make one last exception for Heart. I saw them in 1979, and they put on an incredible show. I had been to over 30 rock concerts by that time starting in the 60s, and I had been fortunate enough to see some legendary performers, but I would rate the Heart sisters up towards the top. There is nothing to compare this kind of talent to today. Without pitch correction software, auto tune, and a stage full of half nude dancers for distraction performers today would fall flat. I am sure there are talented artists still today, but they are buried under the constraints of the modern music industry.
Seen them in 79 front row and when they did this one Ann out belted this performance! If you would believe it possible. Will never forget it!
Alone is a good one. Their biggest hit. It gives me chills.
I saw them in 1983 with Kansas in Augusta GA while stationed there. I remember they opened with this song. I was 20.
Awesome
One heck of acoustic guitar entro Ann's voice always wow
Heart is the best. Saw them in concert 3 times in the 70's, 4 times in the 80's, 2 times in the 90's. Best Band Ever!!
Did you see them with the original lineup?
@TristanandIsolt yes I did. My first concert where I saw them they were the opening band. They opened for April Wine in 1975 and I've Ben a big fan ever since.
@@robertaistrope9602 Lucky you. I have loved them from the beginning to now, but they lost a little bit when they forced out the original members.
I saw heart in Montreal way back in the 70s ! they played this song !
Lucky you. I bet that was awesome
for me,it was heart whit jason bonham(spécial guess)and they did 7 led zeppelin songs,,,,at the bell center,,,salut serge,,,from montréal,,,🤘🤘🤘
@@rickthestiks9240 Nice ! well back in the 70s it was at the Forum of Montreal and Heart did about 3 songs, They were opening the night before Alice Cooper ! lol
👍 Heart has always been one of my favorite bands. They have got a lot of good songs.
It's cute to see that Lulu is boy crazy. LOL
Lol
@@KathyLuluandDonna I remember going through the same phase when I was her age. Can't we all ? LOL
So glad you picked this video, Nancy's extended guitar solo is superb. Sorry missed the guy(s) in the V Necks, but when Nancy is on stage I'm pre occupied. Sorry. (She's my age, and always been fascinated). Kath: Sounds like you've got it totally rolling on the house, great job !! Way cool.
Thanks
Thanks for doing the full version. There’s a shorter video that cuts part of Nancy’s intro. Glad you enjoyed it. They are definitely amazing live.
Thanks for watching
"Music" appreciation at it's finest by Kathy. : )
"Crazy On You" almost burned the FM radio stations down all over the country, then it set loose on the AM stations and darn burned the country down. Holy Crap, this song brought it. Find the album - "Dream Boat Anne" - - - Play side 1 "Dream Boat Anne" which leads into "Crazy On You" - - - - Dream Boat Anne is one of the most beautiful songs ever. Ann literally melts your heart then they light the sky on fire and burn it down with Crazy on You. The Heart concert I saw in Sacramento is still in my top concerts I've ever seen in person. It was the original band members - they just flat R O C K E D
Yay! My three fave gals reacting to the greatest ladies of rock ever!
Nancy’s playing is so amazing and Anne’s vocals and lyrics are top notch!
Such a super sexy song, too!
Any man would be proud to have this song dedicated to him!
(Can you imagine the bragging rights of the dude she wrote this about?!? lol)
Cheers, ladies! 🙂
Check out These Dreams with Nancy singing lead.
I love, love, love Heart! They're my favorite female band ever. I'm so glad you ladies decided to react to it, even though you've heard it before. It's always so much more electrifying watching a live performance, so glad you enjoyed it.
Our pleasure!
Yea Kathys back !!! Wintersun Alex ❄️👋❤️
First 4 albums among my favorite. First 2 easy my top 10!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Heart | Crazy on You !!!!! You even got my favorite version. Turn on the fan and and feels like you are there. lol
Lol
Congrat on the house. I'm happy for y'all. Ann & Nancy Wilson are the G.O.A.T.
Thank you
It is said Beyonce is fierce...no, the Wilson sisters are FIERCE
Beyonce ain't SH*T!!
The Sisters rock. Turn up the volume and shake the walls.
78, there was a good chance I may have been there.
16 years old back I'll go back loved these ladies favorite female rockers
Their performance of this at the Concert for the Americas in 1982 is insanely good (and it's on YT) :)
I saw Heart on New Years Eve December 31st 1977 in Oakland at the Arena. Wow they were so incredible.
I have watched this video, probably 30 times. I think that the video and audio quality is superb for that time. Magic Man from this same concert is the same quality. The V shirt is in this one as well, so look out "He's a Magic Man momma "! Lol. Thanks for the reaction ladies. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Kathy, your deep V guy is Roger Fisher, one of the founding members of the band. Shortly after Nancy Wilson joined the band in 1974 she and Fisher became romantically involved. They were together until 1979 and not long after the breakup he was booted out of the band.
Glad to hear things are moving right along with the House Kathy... Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you! Will do!
I've seen them live they are awesome Anne is one of the best rock voices male or female!
Saw them in '77 on the "Little Queen" tour at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. I had center balcony seats with an unobstructed view of the stage.
I'd been listening to their first two albums, Dreamboat Annie and Little Queen, on 8-track for a while before seeing them live.
Heart are making plans to go on tour again don’t know the date yet but I’m excited and yes Ann is lead singer Nancy plays guitar
For real didn't know that hell yeah been into them as teen in 1970s
@@williamreiser3118to this day Ann Wilson vocals are still awesome
nancy was a guitar goddess,,,,🎸(if look could kill) another banger from HEART,,🤘🤘🤘
Incredibly talented sisters! This video has what I think is Heart's strongest band line up:
*Heart*
Ann Wilson - lead vocals, occasional flute & acoustic guitar
Nancy Wilson - acoustic guitar, electric guitar, backing vocals
Roger Fisher - electric guitar
Howard Leese - synthesizer, electric guitar
Steve Fossen - bass
Mike Derosier - drums
They were a progressive rock band for their first 5 albums.
A LOT of great songs to check out (include both live and studio versions):
"Barracuda"
"Magic Man"
"Love Alive"
"Nada One"
"Sing Child"
"Heartless"
"Without You" (Badfinger cover)
"Cry to Me"
"Say Hello"
"Straight On"
"Dog & Butterfly"
"Mistral Wind"
Yea Kathy has the mail box and fixed the foundation and removed a tree and on and on but we are you proud of you Kathy from me and my mother cathy and happy fathers day! Wintersun Alex in Texas ❄️👋❤️
Thanks so much
Kathy and Lulu have such similar reactions facialy.
The Acoustic Guitar intro by Nancy is actually a song titled "Silver Wheels" . This video is from their "Dog & Butterfly" tour & I had seen them in NYC's Palladium theater on that tour. At that time , it was the 1st non arena size venue that I'd ever seen a show at .
Ann Wilson. The greatest female rock singer in history, and one of the finest period! "Magic Man" next?
Great band live. Saw them in the early 80's with Eddie Money opening up the show. I was up front in front of Ann.
Very cool Kathy on your house,
Thanks
Somehow I've got a feeling that there was a spirited conversation after you turned the camera off . I got to see the Wilson sisters open for the Wilson brothers many years before Kathy was born . Believe me Heart went over much better than the Beach Boys did that night in South Bend .
Dog and Butterfly is a great song and gives the softer side of Heart🎶🎶🎶
I saw heart in 90’s was awesome show 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 once
Good for Lulu for not giving a darn about the guitar player's "Deep V" because that guy is 74 years old now!! Lol! Cheers!
Lol
In my humble opinion heart is the best thing that has ever come out of Seattle Washington can't get enough of them acoustic electric weather in the 1970s or the 2000s I don't care the greatest female lead rock band ever.🥰
Congrats on the house. You you are truly amazing how you manage the house your job and a TH-cam channel! This song by Heart brings back such good memories .Another great band from Seattle.
Thank you so much!!
That was a really fun, good reaction. Great job. Incredible song.
*How come I've never heard this before!!!*
Just Kidding, much like Donna, I've been listening to Heart since back in the 70's, pushing my speakers to the limit. And of course I've seen them live on multiple occasions... Nobody sings quite like Ann Wilson, and Nancy sure plays a mean Guitar!!!
I purchased my first LP of Dream Boat Annie in 1976, I was 17. I then purchased their next four LP"s, Magazine, Little Queen, (my favorite), Dog and Butterfly, and Bebe La Strange. Then saw them at Mile high stadium in 1981, where they stole the show from The Motor City Mad Man. Headliner, Ted Nugent. Thank you for a GREAT reaction of one of my all time favorite bands!
Thanks for watching
Donna, my dear, it makes my heart smile seeing you on this reaction. 🙂 This is the first time I have seen you get so animated and watching how deep these memories are for you is just a blessing. You must have been one heckuva wild gal back in the '70s. I can imagine you and that friend you mention getting into all sorts of outrageous goings ons. You are quite mild and laid back these days, but I can see it in your eyes and facial expressions that you, my dear, we are REAL ROCKER back in the old days. It was and is really refreshing and tender to see you let loose and really REALLY get into the music. And, of course, it's Ann and Nancy and the boys who took you there all over again. God Bless you, girl.
I look forward to seeing more of y'all reacting to music that gets momsy out of her shell. 🙂
And, I did not forget you, LuLu and Kathy - I spied the two of you rocking and jamming out as well, although Kathy was preoccupied with Roger's sexy stage fashion. And Lulu, girl you were going there for a while. (rockin' out and moving, girl!) I'll bet that if the three of you were to attend a Heart concert you all would dancing and moving and shouting and screaming and having THE TIME OF YOUR LIVES.
I've only seen Heart live once, but I will always remember it and how amazing the band was. If I had the chance to see them again I'd try to be front row.
Thanks ladies for putting a smile on my face today. 🙂
Thank you
Heart is on tour again this fall. We have seen them 5 times and will go see them again. I think Cheap Trick will be with them
Cool
Hard to beat Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. Two of my favorites.
Hi, cutie's these are the 2 showed that girls can pretty and rock and Ethan roll. I was a teen in the 1970s. And yes, I had a crush on both.
This song jams out beautifully. You guys should check out the movie. The runaways about the first all teenage rock and roll band all girls or not. They were the first all female group bro. And check out the songs by the real. Band the runaways cherry bomb trust me many great songs Joan Jet Rythm guitar Lita Ford lead guitar Cherie Curie lead vocals Sandi West drums, Jackie Fox Bass guitar all meow I had crush all four and they rocked hard.
Funny you mentioned the Runaways, I saw them waaay back in the day, they did a free concert in the parking lot of our local mall in Amherst NY. they opened for Dr Hook.
Damn good times the 70's
Thank you! She said it, "I like it!".
😀
It’s great to see you back!
Saw them live......they are so great
The guy with the "deep v" is Roger Fisher who was Nancy Wilson's boyfriend at the time. When they broke up, they kicked Roger Fisher out of the band, and then the band went bubblegum pop.
He was a draft dodger, and that's why they moved to Vancouver. They had their big success in Canada.
@@visaman wasn't it his older brother who dodged the draft. Ann's boyfriend. I know they went to Vancouver because of that.
@@jimschroeder1176 It was Mike. 😞

Great reaction, ladies!!
Thank you!! 😁
Nice reaction ladies. Good to see yall together. Great reaction. Congratulations on the house! ☘️🇺🇲
Thank you!! 😊
I first saw Heart in 1976 when they were touring with April Wine in Kelowna BC Canada, Heart was the opening act, and I thought they were better! And ladies were beautiful!! I was 17
Heart is an awsome band with real ’girl power’, I grew up listening to ” If looks could kill ” great song and an amazing album If you want some other Heart suggestion 😍❤️❤️. Loved your reaction as always, hugs from Sweden 🤗🤗🤗…!
Thanks
@@KathyLuluandDonna your welcome 😊.
This was there line up
Mr. "Deep V" stole the show for you girls! 😍😍😍
🤣
Yes he did. Lol
Deep V 😂
7:00 Thats okay Lulu,i dont either Unless it out of the blue, ended up on a femaleWhat i always find impressive,is how Nancy almost always is playing on the acoustic guitar, still her sound is just as dominant as the guys on electric guitar.
wooooot
I am now feeling kind of old, knowing that Kathy is 24 years younger than I am!
Deep V.....Lol. Love the deep V.
If you haven’t already you should listen to Hearts cover of Stairway to Heaven at the Lincoln center Honors.
It's on the channel
Love y'all!!
Thanks
Wonderful choice ladies! This is my favorite Heart video. The video quality has not aged well but the sound and energy is all there. A Nancy Showcase at the start. I put in a request in Coffee for a song by Tori Holub and Jim Wilkas. As we wait for you to get to it. I’d like to drop a Short video of Tori performing “Crazy On You.” She actually plays 4 members of ❤ in the video. Yeah, I know. This will NOT spoil the song I requested. I’d love to link the I g version but the risk factor is too high. So the TH-cam version it is. It’s a little longer over there. Enjoy this preview of a talent showcase.

.
Edit:
Barracuda is another banger. Also in Tori’s video she is playing an Ovation 1979 guitar, like Nancy but a different model year.
Nothing like this today.
Great reaction but y'all got to check out "ALL I WANNA DO IS MAKE LOVE TO YOU " the official video simply awesome!!! as always ladies keep on rocking 🤟
Firstly Heart are, were a truly great rock band with the incredible Anne Wilson on vocals the greatest female rock vocalist. I love your Southern accents and your comical exchanges.Donna you should time travel to the greatest time in music from the late 60's to the 80 's. I stick with you as I like your 3 reactions but you do have to listen some drivel in the requests.
Can you react to the live version of faith and decision by Versailles? All the members are male so don't get confused with HIZAKI the dude with the dress
Heart is the band. Not the sister's band.
The guy your daughter keeps talking about was Nancy's boyfriend at the time
Thanks for the info

It’s hot up that stage, he’s gotta keep cool somehow 😂
Great song and a great live version. Hearts always been one of my top bands. 1978, I was a whole 12 years old. Also, the year I went to my first concert. KISS at The Forum, in Inglewood Ca. Your reactions are always fun.👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙
