Savers in Boise is the ONLY thrift store I've ever been in where I walk out with nothing. Their prices are insane. Ironically named!
The black item you didn't know what you were looking at it's a miniature practice dummy for a team roper it's suppose to be a roping steer with horns on it, it comes with a small rope so you can heel the back legs and rope the horns like a header would do 😁

The daisy coffee pot would be cute with an arrangement in it and sold on the stage!! Flower arrangements could also save lots of clear glass from the dump!! You can video and teach us how to do flower arrangements Dani….another source of income.
I would absolutely watch everytime. Just pops of color would brighten up any room in your house.

I am not a reseller and I've always found Savers to be very expensive for a thrift store. Plus putting the price labels on top of, for example, decorative boxes, damages the painting or varnish on the top. And since they seem to have gone to self checkout and do not supply bags any longer, they've lost my business!

Aren't they just precious? We had a black lab Shepherd mix named Peanut and he was a great dog. Now I have 2 black pit bull mixes.

Like you, Danni, I am getting more and more resistant to purchasing those oh so super cute nikee-nackees, like that sweet little girl Enesco piece that you showed. These items don’t sell for much on Ebay and don’t move very fast at my booth either. I’m finally getting it in my brain that no matter how “dripping with sugar” sweet it is and even if it’s only a buck, I’m not going to make much on it and I’ll probably have to practically give it away to sell it. 🙁

Danni, I saw in a thrift store that used a small lamp shade to display their brooches. They just stuck the pin in it. So it didn't take up much room and you could see them really well. Just a thought for your store. ❤❤❤❤

2) I have learned so much from you & ypur videos. Today was my first time in an Antique mall & I would go up to certain items & say this Lenox I would pick it up & it was. My goodness, you are better than me, Danni. I would have walked into that store, looked at those prices, held my tongue, but walked right out again. Why such high prices? The only thing that comes to my mind is greed. It’s really quite sad to think that some of those pieces could be rescued if only they had been priced reasonably. Ugh. I quit donating & shopping at Goodwill over six months ago now because I would only get frustrated with the prices. After seeing the prices at this Savers, however, Goodwill seems like bargain shopping again. Thank you for sharing. 😊

It's interesting how different Savers are in different states. Ours is half off everything Monday, Senior Day Tuesday, and the rest of the week has 3 different color tags half off. Then of course if you bring a donation you get 20% off.

The little black cow thing is a small roping dummy with his horns missing. In our part of the woods, cowboys and cowgirls used a small lasso and played roping his horns and back flopping legs on the floor indoors..

Not long ago I sold a Memories of Yesterday for $25 plus shipping, so it might be worth looking them up. It was larger…a boy and girl walking together under an umbrella…1992, I believe. My customer was thrilled with it. Someone on here said the ones from the 1980s might be worth more…? They are adorable for sure! I always learn so much from your shopping trips, and they are so much fun too! ❤😅

Here’s my hot tip when I go thrift shopping all the stores have different color sales. When I walk in the store I take a picture of the sale color that way if I’m trying to think was it pink or was it green? I can just look on my phone I don’t have to look for a sign. Hope this helps you.

I'm sorry that is incorrect. Vanguard is the world's largest business owner company and Savers is not one of them. Vanguard owns half of Walmart.
