    This is why I’ve been using the tape method. It helps me iron the projects without ruining my pegboards (they warp if I heat them too much XP)
    Also for my projects, I never need to poke holes, but that’s because I iron them on both sides to keep them from potentially breaking lol

      Idk how you all get out of avoiding poking holes. Anytime I don't poke holes my projects turn into triptophobia nightmares

      @@Woodysbeads I mean I honestly don’t know either. Usually I make sure the front (which is covered in tape first) looks well-melted while the back is a different story (even though I melt the back first XD)

      @@OrangeLefty4 Wait are you melting with the iron touching the tape side?

      @@Woodysbeads I tape the beads and flip over the pegboards to take the off. I iron the back side, then I peal the tape and iron the front side. I also use parchment paper on both sides at a time otherwise it gets stuck to my desk XP (which is why one of my Deltarune Susie sprites warped a bit ;-;)

      @@OrangeLefty4 That's crazy that you don't get expanding beads. Maybe it's the tape?

      I've been hearing that a lot! I thought it was simple but maybe it's tougher to do than I thought?

      @@Woodysbeads it look simple but yeah harder than it look. I even tried with tape that has hole already and still tape method not for me. Perhaps I’ll try and try over and over like practice?

    I always seem to end up missing spots when I melt. Not falling apart, but not fully closed.
    I swear it looks perfect through the parchment paper, but when it has cooled and I remove it, there’s always holes still :/

      The game changer for me was the iron. I had a lot of the same issues with my cheap iron but when I upgraded to the cricut heat press it solved a lot of those issues! Maybe it's time to look into an iron upgrade?

      @TipOfTheSauce 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@WoodysbeadsI’m already using a heat press, not a circuit, but another brand.
      It’s more an issue with not being able to tell if the project is done. I know it’s bad to reheat the same piece multiple times.

      @@TipOfTheSauce Ohhhh ok. That just took me practice and trial and error. I figured out that 265-275 degrees F. With around 80-90 seconds tends to get a perfect melt for me. I'm not sure if the surface you iron on affects anything though, I just use my desk
