I’ve found that with enough practice the earthling cruiser is more than a match for the dreadnought, stay out of the range of the fusion blaster and pepper it with missiles
+OvaltinePatrol As you know the battery means nothing to MMRNMHRM and YEHAT! They refuel very fast. That's the way of playing that the awesome cyborg is using against Ur-Quan, Kohr-Ah, Vux... MMRNMHRM would be completely outmatched by those in close distance. Ultimately if you get caught by MMRNMHRM laser form with Ur-Quan, Kohr-Ah or Vux in a close distance you'll take heavy damage by the double laser. I tasted it couple of times :) There's more! If you play against 14 starships MMRNMHRM can be pain in the ass cause it passes by shooting missiles at you and if you miss it, it will do it again and again and you keep losing crew! Which is very annoying and it can ruin your battle entirely. If you watched my video ANDROSYNTH vs full team you can see there how MMRNMHRM could've destroy me and you'll see what I mean. I got luck. I mean... it's a little different when you try against team. Every ship is dangerous cause you trying to save your crew as many as possible for the next battle and next and next and next... Thanks for your comment captain! Wish you best! :)
@@lemonacidrounds7293 Oh. It is a Dreadnought, and stronger than almost any other ship... There were game scenarios where the entire campaign was about destroying **ONE** of them. But it costs three times as much as the blue one. Also, the AI is flying his opponents really badly. With a proper pilot some of those ships should be making mincemeat from it at long range.
@Lion Phoenix The awesome cyborg is million times better than me and you with Yehat's shield! @@UBCForce if you will not stay against direct series of dreadnought blasts, its more easy to rise shield up in right time. I think it's arguable if skilled-human-played terminator is definitely weaker than skilled-human-played dreadnought. avoiding fighters is more difficult.
@@DiamondSane Fully agree, although very skilled human players were so easy for me to beat them years ago when I participated in tournaments! @@tsm688 I was kind of wondering about this, though. Isn't the Awesome difficulty cyborg opponent usually really good about timing those Utwig shields? My recollection is that the Dreadnought can launch a dozen fighters and the AI Utwig shields almost all of them; I don't remember two fighters being enough to get it to waste all its shields. And for a lot of the other ships I don't remember it being such a pushover, either. Like, doesn't it normally use the Androsynth Blazer form against Dreadnoughts?

Of course the disadvantage that the dreadnaught is pretty fast and can outrun the cruiser.

1:02 oooooh Didn't even have to launch a single fighter!
4:28 I barely remember this game but this ship was so overpowered, its ridiculous.
The VUX is overpowered? Against the AI perhaps. Your only hope against a human opponent is for them to mess up and take a limpet to the groin
@@tsm688 I meant the large green ship. You see how 3 shots crushed the other one.

Go hardcore, do a Shofixti vs full team ;)
I'm kidding, I know that's pretty much impossible.
