Pascagoula Point Springtime Fishing Adventure

This trip takes place on May 4, 2024. We are starting todays adventure at the Southern end of the naval island at Pascagoula point and later go above the naval island to the creeks North. The lure used in todays trip is the Unfair Lures Smack Tail in Coffee color. This is a fun trip with some good catches. Hopefully you enjoy the video. Thanks bud, I ran into ole Steve on that trip up North. He was hunting his big flounder of the year. I love the Pascagoula point when the weather is right.

I FIND THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT A FEW SECONDS THEN SET THE HOOK ON THEM FLOUNDER, OTHERWISE, YOU WONT LAND HALF YOUR CATCH.

You’re right, it’s a very hard thing for me to not jerk it immediately, i really love when it’s those 20” flounder and they just inhale it so it doesn’t matter. Glad the flounder have made such a strong comeback the last couple years. A few years ago it was tough to get a single one.
