Would love if tutorials for this program actually showed the setup, video just starts with all these nodes from no where and I have no idea what to pick. Your video only says "New Graph" but it has stuff in it already at start, when I pick "New Graph" all I get is an empty window with nothing in and a yellow warning sign.

I don't suppose anyone can read what the node connected to the height output is, I can't seem to see it's name anywhere in the video.

amazing tutorial. one question, the cracks for some reason appear in different intensities in my attempt. they are deep and black in some parts and light and grey in others. any tips?

at 2:45 when i complete the step and connect the new tile sampler to the Blend node im getting the correct result but it is also drawing circles all over the mesh.. any ideas?

same thing happened to me, did u figure out how to get rid of it?

its because one of your nodes has down sampled from 16bpc to 8bpc which limits the range of colors per channel, more then likely its probably a blend node somewhere that you've only attached one input to.
