You are goals. Not saying that in a fanatic way, but literally.. the more I watch the more I want to change and see my goals becoming realistic! Thank you!
I never thought about buying versatile clothing but I love the idea of turning garments upside down. Especially clothes that "officially" only can be worn one way. Thanks to you I'll dive into the "versatily clothing business" and write about it on my blog. Keep up the good work Erin! And as a Dutchie I hope you'll visit Amsterdam again soon! ;)
Wow thanks, what a helpful video. I read about the climate pledge, to only buy 3 new clothes items in a year. That's such a stretch goal for me, SUCH a stretch! But I appreciate the way it's making me stop and think. Your video was helpful about how to use the pieces I already have and like. For instance, I have a pleated midi skirt with a strong elastic waist, which I also use under too-short dresses so they still work. But I could wear it as a strapless dress, elastic waist folded over and tucked into a good strapless bra, then belted. I bet that would look so good! And then one skirt has 3 uses.
I love my tshirt dresses, currently wearing one with a skirt over the top so it looks like a top & skirt. I recently realized i can wear one of them with a slimmer design under one with a more flowy cut for when the weather turns super cold. I also plan on getting one with long sleeves mainly as a layering piece. I wouldnt wear it as a skirt like you did but will have to try the belt "tunic" method.
Such a versatile piece, love the color! I also use this idea especially when I find a piece I sort of got bored. My favorite thing is wearing blouses with lower front neck line backwards. For me is the perfect scoop back and I can use them both ways
Great idea! Such an easy way to get 2 different looks. I've also seen tops designed with a scoop on one side and and V on the other so you can change your neckline.
Really nice having two different cuts with one piece! And I agree with you that sometimes one piece designed for versatility might not work for everyone but I think it's important that designers make an effort towards that direction. Your way of wearing your cardigan actually reminded me of this one (www.ioannakourbela.com/gr/2550.php) which really impressed me because it's only cotton and the way it is knitted permits it to change ways you can wear it
I love the idea of versatile clothes, but I don't really have anything like that. I love sleeveless dresses that can be worn pinafore style over shirts in winter, but it's just a different way of styling it. I love how you belted the t-shirt dress to make it shorter.
I made a pair of wrap pants with stretch fabric. They can be worn as pants, a skirt, dress, or overalls, but I mostly just like the pants and skirt option. Best of all, they'll still fit if my size changes.
The heels are awesome! I totes agree with you that some of the versatile fashions ways of wearing are questionable at best. That is what has kept me away from them. But I do have one beautiful long skirt that I discovered I could pull all the way up to my chest and layer another blouse or sweater on top and I'm really having fun with that. Keep making these great videos😄your enthusiasm gets me excited about sustainability and fashion 🙏
We're so sorry to hear that Aodren! We do have some great accessories you can add to your shoes to change up your look though! (www.veerah.com/collections/accessories)
A matching top & skirt set is pretty versatile. Wear both pieces together for a dress look, or you can wear the skirt and top separately! I'm currently planning to sew myself a set for summer
Omg those shoes!! I am currently looking for heels to wear for my wedding, but wanted something that wasn't so fancy that I couldn't wear again. Will definitely check them out!
those heels are so cool! might have to look into those more. Also if you want some more inspiration on how to wear things multiple ways, FashionbyAlly has great fashion hack videos for that!
Loved these ideas with the long t-shirt dress--I have a black jersey dress that I can lots of ways that's been a favorite for the last few years. It's pretty lightweight but I'm excited to bust it out again now that the weather's warming up. Where's your dress from?
I absolutely love your style and it’s so inspired me. ♥️♥️ Thank you so much I have been struggling with my wardrobe for a while and this really cleared matters up. 😊
Thanks for featuring our Chrysalis Cardi! Our piece is designed to be worn 8+ ways. Even if you only wear it 3-4 ways, it's still an extremely versatile piece for travel and life
I really appreciate how you showed so many different styles of the same dress, but it went kind of fast. Some of them were self explained like using the belt, but do you think you could do a separate, slower tutorial on how you make all the knots and transform the dress into various shirts? You make it look so easy, but I can't quite get the hang of some of the techniques you use.
We used to wear big baggy sweatshirts upside down as sort of a modified pair of pants. The feet go through the sleeves (hello....pre skinny jeans) and belt the waist to hold them up, for modesty's sake you could wear leggings under as a warm layer orrrr sit\conduct yourself as if you have a skirt on because the neckhole is directly below your crotch, hahah 😂 It is super comfortable for lounging or wear for a night in, studying, TV, even to the movies.
Great video! Have you ever checked out the company Mime et moi? They basically make beautiful shoes from which you can switch out the heel and so create more shoe options :p
I used to wear convertible "infinity" dresses in the late 70s. I've seen them popping here and there lately, often in bridal magazines. Time for a comeback? Here are some examples. www.convertiblewrapdress.com/short-convertible-multi-way-dress/ shop.nordstrom.com/s/donna-karan-infinity-matte-jersey-dress/3506752 www.pinterest.com/explore/ways-to-wear-infinity-dress/ www.pinterest.com/explore/infinity-dress/
oh I love that dress! so much, that i am thinking to get it! would be a great help, if you could you tell me what size you are wearing?, i think we might be the same size and it looks gorgeous on you! thanks for another great video!
Love the heels, but I'm already 5' 8" so I don't really want to be any taller. Also, I'm a bit clumsy so heels aren't the best for me. Do they make this in a flat though?
I'm struggling with a summer dress I love but it's not versatile at all... I can really only wear it at the beach or on vacation. I know I shouldn't feel restrained in having a minimalist wardrobe but I do right now. But I think I will regret keeping this dress. Last winter I felt the same way about some hot pink booties that I adored but have no regrets about returning them now. I think I will stick to other accessories for color. My black drapey beach maxi dress however has been a work horse in my wardrobe. I've worn it by the pool as a cover up, casually during the day with a cropped tee, dressed up with jewelry and a wrap at night, and even to church with a white button up blouse. If it's chilly I wear it with leggings underneath. I sometimes wear it to bed lol... No regrets 😎
Thanks! Probably blues or I also really like a cranberry/burgundy red. Recently I've been really liking forest green too but don't own any pieces in it.
I love the idea of your Veerah shoes! Very cool. Have you ever heard of mimemoi.com? I'm interested in trying something like these, but from what I understand they don't ship to America yet. What is so cool about them is they have 5 heel heights you can clip into one sole. I haven't researched their ethical standards yet, but I like the idea of having one pair of shoes appropriate for most occasions with the heel changing.
I waited for the shoes to come up in your video since one of the" month" videos on patreon :D I searched a dress some weeks ago and found a brand on avocadostore (www.avocadostore.de/brands/les-crevettes) but I wasn't able to get any information about them. Do you maybe have some or know similar dresses? (I want a long one for summer that I can also wear to a wedding I probably attend) Have a nice day!
Really cool design! I owned a dress similar to that a long time ago from American Apparel, but ordering from Avocado Store is definitely better. I feel like they're pretty good with their criteria and it looks like the dresses from that brand are certified. :)
THANK YOU! More videos on showing the versatility of items. It's helpful to see how we can fully use what we have. I love the ideas!
Thanks Ann!
You are goals. Not saying that in a fanatic way, but literally.. the more I watch the more I want to change and see my goals becoming realistic! Thank you!
you just opened my eyes with the wearing your cardigan upside down... mindblow!
Those heels are a great idea. Sounds like a brilliant company!

I checked, and it really did look great! So did another, which I didn't expect.

I'm definitely going to try all my cardigans upside down. :)
Really great video! As someone who has a minimal wardrobe, I love versatile pieces!! That T-shirt dress (and all the ways you styled it) is amazing!!!

Wow those heels look like they came from heaven
Great video :) I've never seen those kinds of shoes! They are incredible and suit you really well.
That's so cool that you can wear your cardigan upside down...never thought of that before but I'll have to try it out!
Love the heels! Very versatile.
Such a wonderful video and we are so proud to be included.
But you don't make my size ! (35 in EU) #lifesucks...
We're so sorry to hear that Aodren! We do have some great accessories you can add to your shoes to change up your look though! (www.veerah.com/collections/accessories)
Awesome tricks with the t shirt dress. I do not wear heels but those are great too
Thanks! :)
A matching top & skirt set is pretty versatile. Wear both pieces together for a dress look, or you can wear the skirt and top separately! I'm currently planning to sew myself a set for summer
So cool you're sewing a set!
Omg those shoes!! I am currently looking for heels to wear for my wedding, but wanted something that wasn't so fancy that I couldn't wear again. Will definitely check them out!
We would be honored to see you in our heels at your wedding! Please e-mail me at melinda@veerah.com if you have any questions at all. - Melinda
I have been looking for a pair of versatile heels! Really glad I saw those in your video. Will definitely be checking them out. :)
love fashion & love the environment... solution: versatile reversible fashion & capsule wardrobing!
those heels are so cool! might have to look into those more. Also if you want some more inspiration on how to wear things multiple ways, FashionbyAlly has great fashion hack videos for that!
Great video! Those shoes are dream!
Loved this video so much! Wonderful tips - I really love the shoes too :)
I tried the cardigan upside down after seeing your instagram post about it and it works. A whole new look with the same piece.
Yay! That's awesome it worked for you! It's so great to find different ways to wear things :D
Wow! This is so great! I need to be more creative with the things that I have! Some great ideas in there!!!
Also those heels are awesome! What a great idea!
Thank you!

Oh man, want a pair of Veerahs even more now! They look fab on you. Thanks for another excellent vid 👍
Sooo curious what you think of my versatile dress 🙏. I bought it in Greece and I think every girl should own one in her capsule wardrobe
Okay I need a t-shirt dress!
Thanks for featuring our Chrysalis Cardi! Our piece is designed to be worn 8+ ways. Even if you only wear it 3-4 ways, it's still an extremely versatile piece for travel and life
Great video, you did a fantastic job styling yourself!
Thanks!

That chrysalis cardi is so cool
I'm in love with that shoes idea!!! Than you!!😘❤
These are good ideas for travelling light.
Great job!! Very inspiring video

I've seen those! It's a cool idea!
What a great idea to wear it in several ways. I love to mix up my dresses. Do you know more brands that sell these type of dresses?
This is blowing my mind!
Great video! Have you seen the infinity dress? That's really nice too! Loved your new shoes😊
Thanks! I haven't.. can you wear it a lot of different ways?

Irai Rod I was glad to see someone else that remembers this dress from the '70s. Such a classic, it'll never go out of style!
Your hair ! 😍
oh I love that dress! so much, that i am thinking to get it! would be a great help, if you could you tell me what size you are wearing?, i think we might be the same size and it looks gorgeous on you!
thanks for another great video!
Thanks! It's such a great dress- so soft and comfy! I have it in a size S. :)
aw that sounds perfect! already looking forward to wear it in the summer :) thank you so much!
Very interesting!
Love the heels, but I'm already 5' 8" so I don't really want to be any taller. Also, I'm a bit clumsy so heels aren't the best for me. Do they make this in a flat though?
Unfortunately not, but they have a little kitten heel.
I'm struggling with a summer dress I love but it's not versatile at all... I can really only wear it at the beach or on vacation. Day to night Barbie vibes
What's your favorite color (not neutral) to wear? Those heels look fabulous!
Thanks! Probably blues or I also really like a cranberry/burgundy red. Recently I've been really liking forest green too but don't own any pieces in it.
so interesting!!
The heels are close to your skin color which will elongate your legs :D

I guess I'll look into it once the weather gets warmer. It's raining now in Hannover - so no need for a summer dress :D
