www.airbrushtut... Learn how to airbrush a space scene by using translucent paints in their most effective way! Questions? www.airbrushfor... Music: Moments in Space ccmixter.org/co...
Loving the video's they help a lot thank you! I just got into this from painting with brushes and have to say you have a lot to it when it come's to making me like it this much more.
LOL! Part of my comment is missing! The rest of it was, "Because I can't watch you in person and I think some of the details get lost in the posting process!" Sorry about the way it read... I didn't know about it until today:( I love your talent and videos! :)
I've watched this tut some 38 thousand times :-) and if this is a "Half Arsed Attempt" as you suggest then I wonder what it would have looked like if your had tried your best !!
you are very talented! and you make your videos alot of fun with your humor... i use createx paints and was wondering if i could reduce them with water??? if not, should i use 4011 or illustration base?
For all the stars in the background did you use any type of technic for instance using a pencil in front of the airbrush like in you older video or was it all free handed?
great work, I did manage to watch all your videos. but... after I registered and try to download the free tutorials, it gives a Page not found error on all the tutorials? :( --
hi ive been following your chanel for a bit and just got my first airbrush kit...i set it all up and started airbrushing and for a while it was working great.. then i switched to a different kind of paint that was apparently not water soluble... so I gunked up my brush and no amount of mineral spirits, acetone, alcohol is working... is there something that I can soak it in or something that can cut the paint and clean the places where I cant reach?
If I have a dark base, and use createx wicked, can I just use wicked white then lay down some wicked green and blue to make northern lights? Or must I use transparent createx color?
hey :) i just found you cause i'm looking to create a galaxie on a cap, i'm painting miniatures, if i show you a picture, can you do a tutorial with ? are your tuto can be applied on a miniatures ? can you help me please ^^ thank you verry much :)
Have you painted your background in black? is what is achievable with opaque paint? Because I can't put white or another color on top my black background, would you have a solution?
Do you find that the transparent really run and or get splotchy? I've been playing with my settings with my air, but it seems like no product or runs....
anyone know what he's doing to create the stars? since he cuts to holding something in his other hand and makes sure to stand in in front of the camera so that nobody can see what he didn't bother to explain? 3:07
that would be a Paint brush. how it works it the airbrsh blows paint on to the brush the brush holds it then the air from the gun pushes little drops off the tip creating a dot
"How to airbrush a Space Scene" but doesn't explain a lot of important stuff like air pressure, paints, or even the techniques to do the stars and mostly everything else. This is more like a "Watch me paint a space scene".
With all due respect, he covers all that in his ‘basics’ tutorials on his TH-cam channel main page. Every technique he uses here is in those first few videos. It’s a proper beginner’s series. Get those down, you can do this.
+geewizmom You kinda soak (just a little) a brush with thinned down white paint, hold it like 2-3 inches away from the canvas and spit just air with the airbrush to make the paint on the brush speckle over some area. Never tried it before but I'm gonna do some trainning to test it. Some guys use this technique to simulate mud/blood/etc splatter on miniatures.
A pleasure to be taught in this way. I always have them smiling but you do it very well and we are happy with you.
Love people like this knowledge given for free

Have you painted your background in black? is what is achievable with opaque paint? Because I can't put white or another color on top my black background, would you have a solution?
are you able to pull off some as close to this with regular paint (not transparent paint)
Do you find that the transparent really run and or get splotchy? I've been playing with my settings with my air, but it seems like no product or runs....

Why are you so upset?
How did you do the speckled effect for the stars?

He does that quickly on the video (around 3:10) but didn't explained it. At least not here.
+sauloteixeira07 Thanks! I appreciate the tip.
I've tried to paint this project. My attempt at this came out quite sad looking.
+geewizmom You're welcome!
I think it's mainly a matter of practice and experience. Hope you keep on improving your techs.
