Sooo it's a little more complicated than we thought 😂 TRIVIA answer: George Washington named the first Thanksgiving, Abraham Lincoln made it a national holiday celebrated on the last Thursday of November, Ulysses Grant made it a federal holiday in Washington DC, and Franklin Roosevelt moved it to the next to the last Thursday in November. Congress made it a paid holiday.
I enjoyed your update. I love the fall! Especially love the change of color of the leaves. I like to go out and rake up big piles of leaves as well as using the leaves blower in the back and front yard. I like pumpkin spice and the opportunity to start wearing sweaters. I thought it was an earlier president like Thomas Jefferson that made Thanksgiving official but had to look it up and saw that I was not correct. 😉🦃
I luv the cooler weather I've been 2 a few haunted houses in NC n in Ohio I'm an October baby now it's cooler I can go walking now n I luv the color of the leaves changing QOTD is it Johnson idk
My husband said FDR then he looked it up. And FDR is the president that moved it to when we celebrate it now. But he was not the original one to make it a national holiday but I won't say who since we cheated 😂😂

My guess was Roosevelt too.
