I totally agree with you. I think I mentioned in one of my comments previously. With unpredictable weather doesn't hurt to have an extra tank. Up in Canada we are also able to get I believe it is a 30 lb tank.

@@sue9252 well I’ve stayed in a couple of pre-fabs and they felt really cheap, they weren’t furnished so it was the bare minimum. So if I do anything it will be something we build on our own and it probably will be stationary so we can use better finishes. We have the land to put it on already and we also have one small shipping container. But I’ve started watching more realistic vlogs that show the good bad and ugly of all of these alternative living and Im learning a lot. Im in a state with all four seasons so I have to consider what will be best for our climate. Im just all about getting to a minimalist lifestyle.

If you're taking feedback, I personally LOVED you walking us through the cooking lesson instead of doing it silently. Kind of related, I love that you eat so balanced, not super strict in any sort of way, without any judgement put on any specific foods. FYI...it's a "chassis" battery, pronounced "chas-ee", not "chase". I'm a 65 year old woman and a long-time RVer. I love how you are (finally lol) reading your manual and learning about your home! You have a very high-end RV with sophisticated systems that are designed to do everything efficiently and often automatically. You paid big bucks for your home, and IMHO, you are doing it and yourself a disservice not using all of its wonderful amenities as intended, and you deserve to enjoy all it has to offer! There is absolutely no reason to be freezing cold, or to not use your fresh water system. Your heating system is designed to keep the plumbing lines warm so they won't freeze. I am a hospice nurse which I love. I change to hospice 15 yrs ago best decision I ever made. It's a slower more rewarding way of nursing.
I replaced my crockpot with an instant pot. It does slow cook as well as pressure cook and many other functions. I make soups often and it rocks.
I did not think that this type of content would interest me, but I was wrong. These videos are so charming and fascinating to me. I literally got chills when you said that you were proud of yourself. What an inspiration. Thank you for sharing
You and Tiffany of Where is Tiffany are the chillest van lifers. The others seem to always have problems but you two seem to plan your life in such a way that you rarely have drama.
Or some of the van lifers decide to ditch their vans and go on some exotic vacation, then scream that they miss their van. I agree with you

Well yes she has a fully built class b rv. Half the problems are from the van not being ready for full time vanlife but they also don't have 85000 laying around.

Just advice, as you fill your empty one , why not get an extra tank for emergency. ..... it doesn't hurt to be prepared, especially on a weather like this......
I totally agree with you. I think I mentioned in one of my comments previously. With unpredictable weather doesn't hurt to have an extra tank. Up in Canada we are also able to get I believe it is a 30 lb tank.

@@sue9252 well I’ve stayed in a couple of pre-fabs and they felt really cheap, they weren’t furnished so it was the bare minimum. So if I do anything it will be something we build on our own and it probably will be stationary so we can use better finishes. We have the land to put it on already and we also have one small shipping container. But I’ve started watching more realistic vlogs that show the good bad and ugly of all of these alternative living and Im learning a lot. Im in a state with all four seasons so I have to consider what will be best for our climate. Im just all about getting to a minimalist lifestyle.

Try savory oatmeal with Irish steel cut oats in your crock pot with chicken or bone broth, cubed pieces of rotisserie chicken, curry powder, a dash of fish sauce, soy sauce, fried egg on top with a drizzle of chili oil and some freeze dried chives. It's so, so good.

FYI...it's a "chassis" battery, pronounced "chas-ee", not "chase". I'm a 65 year old woman and a long-time RVer. I love how you are (finally lol) reading your manual and learning about your home! You have a very high-end RV with sophisticated systems that are designed to do everything efficiently and often automatically. You paid big bucks for your home, and IMHO, you are doing it and yourself a disservice not using all of its wonderful amenities as intended, and you deserve to enjoy all it has to offer! There is absolutely no reason to be freezing cold, or to not use your fresh water system. Your heating system is designed to keep the plumbing lines warm so they won't freeze. Keep on reading and learning! Love your channel.

Never heard of savory oatmeal but I'm glad you revised the recipe cause as soon as I saw you use a whole bouillon cube + that seasoning for the amount of oatmeal you used I thought it would be inedible.
