I think he may have used a top to the bottom gradient for the matte/haze/faded look. Top half of his image down to the lower part of the subject falls off but from left to right the fade/haze seems pretty even.
It would also roll over the entire subject, and you can tell by the end of the video the face and body of the fox has a lot more washed out or haze look.
Another banger! Love watching your analysis Maarten. It's so interesting how you're able to get the photo spot on in the end and honestly most times even better haha. Please do @benswanderlust next. I just can't seem to place his tones in any category, not sure if faded and not sure if contrasty. The photos just come to life for some reason. Like sometimes I can pinpoint the theme for a split second but then I lose it moments later cause there's so much going on. It's like organized chaos in a way haha. K I'll just stop trying to describe it now haha, but yea would love to see what you pick up. Cheers! :D
@Maarten ... There are never any passwords and when people ask about it, you never give a response. I dig your work bro and Id love to sign up, but if you feel like you getting robbed of the free stuff then it makes signing up that much harder. Can we get a response to the password never popping up??
If it can be of any help for you, most of the time it doesn't work for me neither when I watch the video on my computer but it works when watch the same video on the youtube app on my phone
