Showing the method i use for solo bandos with the new ice and blood ancient sceptres from the desert treasure 2 bosses. (vardorvis for blood) (duke for ice)
The method is way more consistent now with the new sceptres and i thought i'd share it as i havent seen many people talk about it :)

Very nice guide. I’ve done bandos with some friends and if you’ve got the ice ancient staff you do not need a tank, provided everyone is using range/mage vs bandos. Kills are so quick you normally kill it on first freeze.

i'm not even playing osrs but this is a good video. And that's cool they made it to where the elite diary lets you only have to get 30 kc instead of 40.

i know this is old but if you have to choose either ward (f) or magus ring what would you choose for bandos krill and kree? i would be using the blood secptre but i do have full bis mage gear minus the magus ring and ward

Yes 100% worth it, you break even with no drops and you can make a shit ton of money if you get lucky :)

I'm wondering the same thing, just having a mage switch for freeze then range swap (full bowfa) I think it might work tbh

Ya dude like I said in the video it has the same accuracy bonuses as ancestral and the main thing is making the freezes accurate so as long as you pair that with the ice sceptre you're good :)
I find it funny that when getting KC those poor level 3 gobbys are getting just absolutely melted by the shadow. Price of war i guess.

So is ice scepter freeze more accurate than freezing with a shadow?
Don't know the numbers exactly but I've tested both and the ice sceptre is definitely better
Shadow’s 3x mage accuracy multiplier only affects mage accuracy when attacking with the shadow. So shadow would be +35 and an ancient ice staff would be +20 + 10% to total, and give a slightly longer freeze when landed.

no, accuracy is nowhere near good enough. in absolute max you miss many freezes in a row
ya if your gear is good enough, and you gotta learn to kite well and be prepared when you splash. you can pretty much have infinite trips once you get it down, super chill method compared to the others :)
