I went with FFIE this morning...14 cents a share, sold half my position at 28 cents a share and now everything is profit and I can just enjoy the ride.

I rode the AMC wave from 7a to 8a. Ended up holding on to $335 profit. I'm super happy with my day.
Got up around 7:15am (4:15am my time) and saw them ripping up, so I calmly got my station set up, scored them, and made three trades on AMC, from 7:30 to 7:40. Traded AMC because GME to pricey for my small account. Took a small trade on the curl around 8:30. Small acount is now over $1600 after commissions, having started with $850 on April 9th. Thank you very much, Ross and team! Gotta keep following rules, being grateful, and trying to build account carefully.

Bought at $37.08 two minutes before close of afterhours last night and sold right before 7 am CST this morning at $70.60. Went back in the afternoon and grabbed some more green GME. Aso, got some green on AMC, SPWR, and CTNT. My best trading day ever!!!! Hope everyone else had a green day! 😃🤑

Paper trading day 7: I wish I had a real trading account now 😛 Traded GME today and managed to catch the 7 AM move - bought at $53 and sold at $75. $2,200 for the day. Missed literally everything else (because I don't have multiple monitors and overall terrible at tracking one stock at a time). SPWR had a picture-perfect bull flag with a huge potential, which I missed while watching the craziness around AMC and GME. CTNT I was just too scared to trade as it was quite choppy and boy those moves past resistance were fast! So basically missed everything else. Also not a great day for learning, as it is definitely not a typical trading day... As for GME - we could very well see its highest point - the rejection at $80 was very strong and it also so happens to be its historical high ($81) given the split. AMC basically mirrored GME's every move, but it has a history of going way higher, so who knows. Short sellers are not stupid (?) to start shorting them right away, but who knows? We shall see...
Feels a little bit like 2021 and I can't be more excited. I'm thinking T1 settlement on the 28th should be another little boost to daily momentum.. Let's go!!
I took PLUG at $4.78, sold at $4.96. They were on the scanners and had news. Thanks for the videos Ross.

That is one of the BEST lessons to learn while you are still SIM trading - the other is proper risk management!
I came in late today but managed to squeeze out a .17 /share win on AMC and walked away before the big selloff at the open. Good enough for me

Thanks Ross! Always appreciate the recap man. For me... Wow, crazy day lucky I'm even green. Went up near 1k, got caught in halts (multiple downs), under a couple hundred and ended the day up like $10. lol wow I guess I'm super lucky though all those halts I got caught in lucky I got in lower, just not low enough and held too long thinking market open would be a good move upward. Finally had to just cut the loss and grind my way back positive, held too long. Lessons learned, so a green day but wow lots to learn from today.

Bloomberg Intelligence said retail investors make up about 18% of daily volume in the equity markets. Gensler said only 3% of retail orders hit the lit market. This means that retail influence is 0.54% of overall volume , and even that is controlled by when it hits the lit market, and whether the buy or sell side. Retail has zero influence. Actually worse, since our own volume is selectively used against us. Retail has net zero influence in market prices.
I bought some GME Monday and left a sell order and woke up to doubling my money Tuesday. Gave back a few bucks this morning with AMC but knew I was gambling stoinks vs trading stocks.

I had that happen to me in ToS a few times. Put an order in and WOULD not cancel. wouldn't fill either. eventually at open it filled and Thankfully made a bit.
I guess the cold market has been going on for so long so when the market is finally hot im afraid to take risk on choppy stocks like AMC it had some serious flushes down GME as well, but in a hot market it can still workout just need to lower the share size to manage risk and step up to the plate for a basic green hit.

Hey Ross! I noticed next to your level 2 windows you now have one large time and sales window, along with the smaller ones next to the level 2. Do you focus now on the larger time and sales window instead of the smaller one?
I just use the bigger one for halts because it shows the time of the last print

They did buy and selling problems also on Robinhood in Korea. They were trying to block people from squeezing short sellers.
I got caught in the halt. Learned my lesson on double dipping. Made a decent chunk for an account with very little funds. And then went back for a second taste and waited a little too long and bam, they decided not to let that happen and I lost all the money I made as the stock reset after the halt. Since it's a very small account the money is replaceable, but still. Hit it and quit it is a very powerful lesson.

Made a decent profit today on SNDL. Was able to close a month old position in green.
The brokerages wouldn't sell GME last time it ran. All of them got stuck to protect the shorts lost. Good to know they are doing it again

For how long will the 2-week offer be on? Got some holidays (bank holidays) coming up over here, when I won’t be able to tune in, and don’t want to waste days…
I took 28 trades today on my paper account and had a 75% win rate. Sounds good, right? Some of my losses weren't bad today, but 2 of my losers put me in the red by just over 5000. I'm glad it's in a simulator. I lost 8.92/share on GME when it suddenly dumped. I was holding 250 shares when it happened. I lost 1.08/share on CTNT on its first move and it dumped. I was holding 5,000 shares. My biggest mistakes were not cutting the losses quicker and increasing my share size more than what I typically use. Had I not taken those two trades, I would have been up over 2500. Honestly though, I'm glad I got to trade this market today. It was a hell of a learning experience!

That’s funny I did the exact same thing in my paper account I’m just learning and won most of my trades but 2 bad trades on gme and now I’m -2000 trying to make it all back
I had a similar loss on my main account a while back so I understand the emotions for sure. Even still, when you feel pressured to make it work it can still happen on a simulator. I think I had to remind myself how bad it can get if you don't manage your risk. Lol
An interesting consideration i would have of myself, or that in a strategic use of anything on the outskirts of that when using real$. $imTrading, in and of itself and its utility, is risk management baseliner. Meaning you will envelop more than a concept of risk management, but also the analysis thereof. Still, moreso than that inadvertent implication of farming a concept, a skill may be developed and will for sure be exercised. So granted these abstracts, tailoring in a couple of risk considerations ive learned, using the $imulator to house the forces of the mkt as to create a baseline. A baseline, characterized and anchored by engagement with it to resource value, which as priority one in risk, and it’s value, both intangible and tangible. And your energetic enthusiasm herein, may have you be creative to undergo brainstorming of what you may see, how you might address it, and the fun observational learning up to this point. Just to dont forget the incredible amount of value in your own experience. The existential to which you in this moment have come to be detailed about. Why are those risks or reasons to qualify an unfavourable outcome? “Cutting loss” “share size”. Strategic planning or no to qualify unrealistic share size? $imulator use in the first place is a risk adjuster. Why? Or is it?
Does AMC have anything left? Any chance goes up even a few $? Despite halts and blocking on sell orders, I did well on GME. But am biting it on AMC
The same thing happened with the 21' GameStop short squeeze. People could not get out.
Could have had a successful green day but ended with a successful red day with only right under a $12 loss . Still happy and content,ready to relax and wait on my next opportunity for a possible green.

Hesitated to take the move on AMC around 7AM and watched it go without me, bought the top and then averaged down. Had the chance just before market open to get out with a small profit even and got greedy - shouldve expected there to be nothing but profit taking at 9:30. Held way too long - IDK why the best days in the market are always the worst red days for me. I just expect things to keep running and lose track of anything Ive learned
I suffered from the same "disbelief" with AMC. I kept expecting it to tank. I watched it rise from 7am until 724am, when I finally bought in. We have been in a weak market for an extended time. It is hard to turn off those "warning bells" when the market gets hot.
I watched Ross's video from the evening before, and he let people know to watch for these meme stocks popping up. After the first trade, it was easier to jump in on other opportunities. I ended up gaining over 3 dollars per traded share by 1006am.
Has nobody looked at AMC stock history? This stock is gold. Pre-pandemic it was trading in the $200-$300 range. It's only down due to the writers strike and there are several big movies coming out this year. I bet AMC is at $50 - $75 by the end of the year.

Doubled one of my accounts on amc today and got a few nice green trades on my other accounts with HOLO
Trade with 100$ today, made money on my 1st trade AMC, then lost my next 4 trades and finished with 80$, so a 20% loss. Getting really discouraged. I like this type of trading because in my eye it's mostly risk management, but it really feels like gambling. I decide my entry based on volume, pullback and such, but I'm right only 35% of the time only so far.

I would stay away from Game Stop and AMC. They shut that down real quick today. They got too worried it would become too volatile for the market and stopped allowing trades, and they're pretty much dead now. You can buy them now, but everyone already made or lost their money on it, so the meme is over.

It has come to the point where I have been consistently profitable, but I have an issue with selling winners way too soon. Sold AMC today for a $0.30 gain on a few hundred shares. But then I watched it go up an additional $2. Ross or anyone else , what technical indicator would you suggest I pay attention to to determine that I should stay in a momentum trade?
Split out 50%, or 25+25% of what you have. So perhaps you buy at 4.10, sell half at 4.40. Sell other half at 4.60. Or: sell half at 4.40, 25% at 4.60, 25% at 4.99.
FFIE (outside strategy as under $2), but hit the rip for good gain in few minutes
I think the brokers wanted to prevent traders from repeating what happened in 2021. Will you come back tomorrow and trade GME if it rises again? I don't think so, and that's exactly what they wanted

One of my biggest gains recently came from me accidentally hitting my touchpad with my hand, which put all of my BP into the ask. The candle went green fast then I realized my P&L changing on my screen, still oblivious I had an open position. Haha, I'll take it but feels like a weird win.
While the roaring kitty tweet might have helped this stock there is no way retail has as many shares that have traded over the last 2 days. Most of the hardcore apes didn't sell so the retail that is left that is joining in on this rally were just a small fraction. This looks like some big fish moves causing all this price action. The question I have is what is going on and why are they buying so many shares now?
I should have made a $800 profit on GME, but when I tried selling it stock was halted a couple of times so I ended up $400 profit.

Could someone explain me why GME and AMC acted like mirrors to each other, besides both being meme stock? That was weird to see.
One typically leads and the other follows. GME was leading and AMC was sympathy. This is common. People trade AMC in part because it’s cheaper than GME but they move similarity
