I just ordered a Falcon F-15 after watching one of your videos. Can’t wait as I just couldn’t figure out what laptop to buy. I figured if it worked for you with all you do, then it will definitely work for me. Falcon staff are amazing to do business with. So happy I went with them.
Stream deck or mx keys plus a mouse is 100% the way to go. You can program all your hotkeys and still be able to use a mouse. Solid thing to look into imo
I'm just using a whatever Dell with 8 gigs of RAM on old Windows 10 and I've never once had a single crash on webull, thinkorswim, or interactive brokers. I don't know how you get your computer to crash maybe get more RAM. from what I hear the lower speed ram is more stable. You should be able to reduce the ram speed in your UEFI.
I have the same issue, running on a very old win10 home desktop. When I have three platforms all installed on the PC, Fidelity ATpro, TC2000 and TradeStation. I works but as long as I only run nothing else. I bought a small laptop with a docking station and use the two external monitors I previously had. Really big difference from over ten yr old desktop to a new laptop.
Experiencing multiple losses as a new trader can be disheartening, but it's important to remember that setbacks are a natural part of the learning curve. Each loss is an opportunity to gain valuable insights and strengthen your skills. Take comfort in knowing that every successful trader has faced similar challenges. If you are not ready for the mental stress in trading just do copytrade instead. Less stress and easy.
Imagine you're playing a game with a friend who's a pro. Instead of struggling on your own, you watch and copy their moves to win. Copy trading is similar in finance. You follow experienced investors' decisions, mimicking their trades to learn and potentially profit in the market.
Thank you Ross and congrats on the cool new system! You've got me thinking about working a trackpad into a desktop setup for economy of motion. That new one does look small, but TBD. Those glow-lights on the new box look rad!!
Nice setup Ross…I use a Dell Inspiron, I’m definitely still beginner and not really making profit yet but when I find my stride Im interested in this type of setup…
Just bought your book from Amazon , just under half way through , great read for me , a beginner , never even placed a trade but drawn to this world of discipline 👍
Make a List of your trading Station and let people pick what they want out of it for themselves I know that a newbie couldn't afford to buy what you have cause you're probably in the $25,000 + range or more thanks for sharing
I've had the Lian Li case for years but I've built everything myself. I have a gaming mouse though, I would never use a trackpad, especially one that small. Gaming mice are extremely precise and without delay.
Hi, I’m a Mac guy but all good with my hardware. I’m more interested in your software and windows setup across screens TBH. I’m essentially a Swing trader and investor but looking into some Day Trading now too to expedite capital growth. I’m just getting into Trading View and charting, etc but looking for inspiration/knowledge, etc. Found you a few weeks back and enjoying the content 👍
On the trading side how have you determined which screen would you put the charts, level II, T&S. Also new video on HOT KEYSSSS. Been doing your two week course and all I can say is I absolutely recommend it to anyone.
I just got my first Laptop at the begining of the month. its the lenovo x13s. i got it spicifically for use while day trading but i use it for so much more and im defnitly happy with it.
I have tried to use a lot of different set ups with different monitors and PC form factors. In the end i made a conclusion, that you don’t need to have more than one Full HD monitor and any ordinary PC for profitable trading. Anything else is just for you comfort)))
Correct. You need to be able to read the market. That's it. Just because someone has the latest tech , they think it will suddenly make them successful.
Super cool desktop! I would buy one just for the flux-capacitor! Congratulations! Also, for those who cannot afford a backup, I always have my broker mobile app pulled in the event of glitch especially Internet glitches.
if the touch pad tape does not work out you could get a stand alone touch pad and separate keyboard. the stand alone touch pads come in all different sizes.
LIan Li makes pretty nifty ATX towers. All aluminum. Great ventilation. I used to build medical workstations for a living and employed Lian Li almost exclusively. It can take a beating. Word of caution though? While glass is great for aesthetics and such, it's not good for heat dissipation.
If you want low fan noise... look at the all in one (AIO) liquid coolers. The other thing when it comes to noise, the larger the fan, the lower the rpm, and the lower the decibal/noise.
I'd like to see another video - in a month or so - on how the new system is working for you and if you feel it's a solid machine - for trading. thanks for sharing
9:27 I mean you don’t necessarily need a second computer for a backup, if your broker has phone apps you can also use that to exit positions instead of buying a whole new computer
All these trading setups and I still don’t know what everyone should have at the very least. Everything is so advanced and I’m just curious what the bare minimum is.
What is the bennefit of a Falcon Trading laptop over a mid priced ($1400) gaming laptop? I did just fine with my now 6yo MSI Gaming laptop running 3 32" monitors. Thanks!
Absolutely nothing. It's the same with Alien hardware for gamers. Trading software is super low demand as far as gpu and cpu load. Preying on the neive.
Ross, you may want to upgrade your game to a nice mechanical keyboard. Haven't watched the full video yet, but that cheap keyboard has me commenting. If you need a good trackpad, buy the standalone Apple Trackpad. It will work in Windows and it is unmatched in quality and useage. (I say that as someone who dislikes Apple.) Thanks for the continued education, coach!
Great Congratulations on your new setup I have been watching your videos for almost 4 years now, I need the Falcon F15 laptop. Do you have any discount deal with them so that i can use it and get some discount
These pc’s are more expensive than what you need for trading. In my opinion, building your own pc is the only way to go. Its learning curve is small… as only certain things plug into their own plugs on the pc. I built my own pc and just upgraded its harddrive to 16 terabytes so i could install all my videogames on one pc. Solid state drives are way faster but i was tired of having small capacity. There are onlly a few factors when buying computer parts… make sure the motherboard is compatible with the cpu… use thermal paste on the cpu before connecting the heat sync… and make sure your motherboard comes with the connections you need…buy a graphics card that has displayport connections but only if your monitor has it too. Get a monitor that can do 144 hz. And as always buy trusted brands like logitech, gigabyte, asus and or just become a master with newegg’s product filters on their site to find the best products.
Hi thanks for Sharing for beginner can we use our laptop we use for work? Or should i get another laptop? What is minimal specs required when buying laptop for trading? Final should get additional screens right away? Or wait since i just started trading? Thanks
My god I couldn't imagine being in the middle of a large position and have something fail... Be it hardware, or even a hiccup in the local internet provider would be serious, more than anything. Do you have max loss stops in place for each trade to prevent catastrophic losses in the event of any unscheduled technology-related mishap? I have a backup internet setup through a cell service but even that would catch me off guard and require a few minutes to really get caught up. By then... "Aaaaaand it's gone".
@@TraderRoss you can double tap the ctrl key to highlight it. Furthermore you are interacting with the mouse all the time, why should loose track of it?

hey ross, make sure you check the temperature of your i9-14900KF because they run extremely hot out of the box that sometimes if your trading software is demanding your desktop can overheat and thermal throttle or even shut off completely to protect itself, i would check with falcon if they ever adjusted the bios voltage settings for the i9, I have mine lowered because these processors run extremely hot. for reference I have a i9-11900kf
You should try using a gaming mouse, it has so many buttons you can bind to whatever you want. So 1 click buy 5000 share and another sell all. Works quick like hot key
that's the reason why he doesn't use it. He likes to have a combination of two keys for hotkeys, so he (or his cat) won't misclick and send a huge order accidentally

If a computer fan makes high speed noise there's a chance that its hard drive or the fan are too dusty.
