Soundarya was phenomenal ❤️ she made this movie a must watch… we lost a gem of an actor like her… Nobody can match her beauty n acting skills…. I can watch this movie till I last❤️

This is undoubtedly one of the finest kannada films. Aapthamitra has incredible repitative watching value. The acting performances are so great especially Vishu Sir and Soundarya maam. One thing nobody points out about this film is Gurukiran's fantastic background score along with the music. Now I know this is a remake but there are few remakes which can stand up to the originals and this is definitely one of them. I've already watched it more than 100 times and have no plan to stop watching anytime soon.
@@Adiiti.the.dreadfull OK can you justify these mistakes of Vidya and then I will lmao 😂 🤣 Shobhana is best and jyothika is last, yes Vidya Balans acting was controlled, but she got most of her expressions wrong,so I don't know if she can be considered as second or third, these are the mistakes The mistakes that Vidya has done 1.In bed lifting scene she was supposed to act like a psychotic patient but she was acting like a ghost and was trying very hard to sound scary and listen carefully she was hissing , I don't know why and observe carefully, at endshe consciously placed the bed down, if at all she saw lifting bed, why did she ask, what did I do? None of other three actresses saw lifting of bed 2.She did not clearly show the transformations or switching from one personality to another like trauma, shock, emotional outburst, Shobhana and Soundarya showed thrm 3. She knew that the dance steps should not be good in the psychotic version , but she forgot that and started dancing beautifully in the psychotic version 4.She tried to be very subtle in the dance sequences.in dance sequences especially bharatanatyam.or kathak.you need to be more expressive and she was carrying the same laughing expression in the imaginary dance sequence 5.Shreya is singing mere dholna sun melodiously and Vidya is showing an aggressive expression ( this is the directors mistake too) 6 Although not her mistake, choreography did not match at all with the lyrics of the song

Though i don't like remakes even though how much good they are, this was an exception, what a masterpiece, At 10:07 when that name appears literally a goosebump moment, He was a very unique character that Kannada industry has ever seen, Vishnuvardhan is an emotion, Malayalam version though always stands tall as an original masterpiece this kannada version stands very unique and stay true to the original version and delivers an outstanding feel, hats off to Dwarakish & P Vasu for making this movie in kannada. Nobody except Vishnu dada can deliver such a terrific performance that originally played by another legend mohanlal.

Though i don't like remakes even though how much good they are, this was an exception, what a masterpiece, At 10:07 when that name appears literally a goosebump moment, He was a very unique character that Kannada industry has ever seen, Vishnuvardhan is an emotion, Malayalam version though always stands tall as an original masterpiece this kannada version stands very unique and stay true to the original version and delivers an outstanding feel, hats off to Dwarakish & P Vasu for making this movie in kannada. Nobody except Vishnu dada can deliver such a terrific performance that originally played by another legend mohanlal.
