this game is a workout for your fingers; you move faster by pressing the move button quickly at least, that is how the arcade and switch (pac-man museum +) versions work since im sure some versions work more like super mario bros. and use the d-pad to move pac-man
I used the fsuse emulator to run the Amiga version and recorded the gameplay with the utility that comes with the Nvidia drivers. Regarding the collage I tried once but my After Effects crashed every time. I guess I put in too many versions at once, hahaha.
@@retrosutra ah thanks for the tip, I haven't yet Fuse. I've just started using davinci resolve and it's got a collage filter that supports up to 25 video streams simultaneously
The arcade, PS1 (a port since emulation at that point was done by Digital Eclipse on the PS1, but was earlier arcade games as seen in the two collections, Midway Presents Arcade Hits 1 and 2 and Midway Arcade Hits The Atari Collection 1), and PC Engine versions obviously. The FC version was ported far too soon, before better memory mappers came out for the console a few years later, and would've made for a far better port. None of the Namco Museums on PS1 were emulation, all were ports redone from the ground up by Namco themselves.
2 years after, Namco were inspired by the cartoon, which was inspired by the original Pac-Man game. I believe it is the first video game adapted into a cartoon, not long after CBS put out Saturday Supercade, which was a bunch of cartoons based on video games. Then not long after that, Dragon's Lair was made into a cartoon with animation done by Don Bluth, who did the arcade laserdisc game's animation, as well as it's sequel.
@@retrosutra Minuto 02:19 ahh órale no se en que momento se me paso, para mí aparte de la Original osea la ARCADE está la TurboGraFX-16 es la mejor, saludos y disculpas.
Controls are fine, the Namco Museum Vol 4 version has customizable controls that you can set to traditional controls, and the TG-16/PC Engine version also has customizable controls. Famicom version isn't all that great, but playing the second controller side also lets you use regular traditional d-pad control.
1:47 That's some sketchy collision detection.
3:57 Blinky: "Oh shit, what have I done?"
hahaha. The collision detection of the C64 version is also really bad.

How do you get your Amiga footage so crisp? Also, have you considered making a collage where all the versions are displayed on screen at once?
