The dog kinda reminds me of a stray dog that I kept feeding. It also kept following me but whenever I tried to reach out for it, it would try to avoid my hand and run sometimes. After a yr she started to trust me more and let me hold her :)
Now she's living with me in my house. :)

there are some people who see pets as family. some people see animals as things, for example, some just think they just need to protect (like a guard dog), if there's no use for them then they kick them out.
I will never understand how anyone can knowingly dump a box containing their furbaby,and then drive off,never seeing the animal again or knowing what happens to it! Just cold hearted!

Even though the owner left his dog, his dog still looks and waits for him. A true loyal and loving dog, which the owner doesn't deserve. Hope she goes home to a better family.
They are so loyal and can't understand why they are so mistreated. God bless this little darling. And may cruel and deserving punishment befall who left it to die.
This little soul didn't deserve what happened to her. The nice lady said she'd take her after vet help. It ended quickly. Hope there is a part 2. God bless these good people.

True she fed it but why did she not want to seek treatment for it or at least bathe it? It was in a deplorable state! If she got it back and it got ill, I’m not so sure she would seek help for it.

Thanks for stating this, because I was waiting for the result at the end but rewatched the end and saw that she will hopefully "become" her new mom/owner.
Verbena, it was in the area for months and she was feeding it and said it followed her around. I don’t think it would’ve been that hard for her to get a hold of it and get it the help it needed. It seemed calm once caught and cleaned up. It wasn’t feral, but a dumped dog by a cruel s.o.b. Still happy she fed it though.
It was not her dog, but she went through all the trouble to feed her, which I don't have complaints about. The dog keeps on running away from her and she was busy with her chores as well, not everyone knows who to call during this situation. In my place, we don't even know what number to call for animal control. She did the best in my opinion, someone even said it was milky white few days ago, so it was not so late when they rescued her. Learn to be grateful for once, hoomans.

Please let us know how she is doing. I hope the person who did this to her sees this and suffers the pain and heartbreak of what they have done. They should live with the guilt the rest of their lives.

i stinking hate when owners just abandon their dogs and leave them to die just because they don't want them. JUST LEAVE THEM IN A STINKING SHELTER OR FIND SOMEONE WHO WANTS THEM DON'T LEAVE THEM ON THE SIDE OF ROAD TIED UP. GIVE IT TO A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER.

Shame on the dog's original owner! They should be severely punished. Thank you to the kind lady who fed the dog, after it was abandoned. It is heart-wrenching to see the poor dog suffer!! I would not have watched, filmed and waited for so many days before capturing the dog. This dog needed immediate rescue!
They tried to catch it before they actually did. I think they just filled it to see the best way to catch it. Anyway, cute little dog. Glad they helped it.

She's such a sweetheart, so sweet, so gentle and precious lil baby. I love her so much. I'm crying because my heart aches for her. She had suffered a lot from the cruel abuse and abandonment from her cruel owner. Thank goodness for the compassionate, kind-hearted lady that fed her and the wonderful, caring people that rescued her
