To be honest, this video is probably the best one I have seen yet, due to the fact you have taken time going into details about your towers, showed us what you're doing, the things you're using, how each one is connected, just all the details. This is something that I'm thinking about getting into, is purchasing a tower. But I have very limited space, since living in the city. The glass door behind you is like a still-life painting. As you talked, my eyes were drawn to the items within that frame like it were art. Life is so interesting. We can act. We can choose not to react. We do that which brings joy. We can stay neutral rather than mad. We choose love instead of fear. That way sacrifices or difficulties aren't that unbearable. It's a journey. We'll get to the other side, soon.
I just wanted to make a suggestion to you for the people who are getting kicked out of the nice sheds you built for them due to the county's planning and building department saying they are not to code, forcing people back into tents. I wanted to suggest that these people put their sheds on trailers and make them moveable. If they do that, it makes it a vehicle, taking it out of the jurisdiction of the county's planning and building department. The people can keep their tents set-up and say they are living in their tents (during the day), and then at night, when the government snoopers and snitching neighbors are not around, they can go into their sheds to sleep at night where it is warmer. Just sayin' there is more than one way to get around the government's stupid laws! Another thing they can do is to get a temporary variance from the county's planning and building department to live in the sheds. But government is nothing but a thorn in peoples sides and people need to start telling those officials they will not be re-electing them if they cannot be representatives that MEET THEIR NEEDS!

They do not spray produce in-store either like Sprouts does. ... It s something until I can grow more, and pineapple is great bc of the bromelin and it's thick protective layers. I covet that celery! May your crops increase 100 fold !

Power Cords: Lowes has clam shell protectors For outdoor extension cord plugs. Saw them near the Christmas decorations. Dark Green. I’ve used them. Work great to keep plugs dry in rain and snow.

I thought of you; then, this video popped up: VIP. Radiation readers? Geiger counters? But, radiation exposure devices are important. I'm watch8ng. I'm looking. I'm afraid for all. Radiation exposure and levels, if any, need to be measured. ASAP. In town. Near rivers. Pastures. It came to me. I was asleep. Woke up. And, here you are. I think radiation is involved.
I think I want to use a deep-wicking-bed where I only have a small 40w air pump on the battery. & to move water I would use an air-lift pump to shift water around the bed. I will use a pond liner & probably a 16-24 inch wide sump to test the water & house the pumps. With an air-lift pump they can lift almost 50% the hight of the water they are dipped in so my wicking bed will have a respectable depth on the sump-pit. For the brand I used I found that the basic 1000w UPS-backup offered more time than the 1500w UPS-backup b/c the larger one had a fan & other watt eating luxuries that the smaller one did not use. I get about 8 hours on two 7ah 12v batteries using a 40w air pump. The larger UPS I tried only offered about 4 hours on the same 40w(not exact numbers but they are what I used to plan) & even using 4 batteries it didn't get to 8 hours. I upgraded to 9ah high-discharge batteries with the 3yr warranties.

If I get the bundle of “garden” I need to buy lights and wheels and I see they sell that as a bundle also. I know the ports are different on the “garden” but extensions can go on both. My goal is greens, peppers and celery. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Still snow start slow down it will warm up Mon lots of rainy, also Pittsburgh, buy next week it will flow down. Can you speak to the peppers and fruiting plants that are grown indoors and needing or not needing to be pollinated. I don't grow anything fruiting on the enclosed patio because of not wanting to do the work of hand pollinating.
Peppers and most things you should grow inside don't need hand pollinating. They have male and female parts so just shake your pepper plants from time to time and they are fine.
We need locals to keep looking keep grid searching hollar searching and making it known. None of the rest of us know the terrain, are able or trusted to go way up in them. Its that way in any disaster but especially in the mountains.

I think if the solar works for them grow Towers. Everyone should at least be able to grow some stuff. We grow everything when we have time. Love our watermelon and cantaloupe. But I have to rotate them every year. I'm going to we decided next spring. We're going to plant more fruit trees in the spring. In rememberance and everyone that we're effected by the hurricane.
I don't. I just except that is a part of growing with hydroponics. It's harmless. The less light the less algae so once the plants get large it blocks the light and it goes away usually.

Yes, but the filters are hard to find now and it doesn't remove heavy metals so I'm going to be sharing a reverse osmosis system this week. That is the only way to really avoid the heavy metals.
I heard today Pigeon Forge had a fire earlier today it was in my TH-cam today is December fifth going on the 6th of December and they had 81 Acres that caught on fire did someone set this fire on purpose that scare people off the land in the area or it was too dry and with the wind blowing for cold weather coming or the other situation they were burning to get rid of stuff and then uses a fill-in hole to ashes and so on and all the sudden that wind gusts came along and stir it all up at once but that was just so sad seeing that it's on TH-cam if you didn't hear about it if it was out towards Pigeon Forge but it just wants make you cry 😢

I'm so glad you talked about Elon Musk driving us into A.I. as I was also beginning to become a little concerned about that too. I don't know if he is a Christian or has Christian values or not? I do sense he is genuinely concerned about our national sovereignty and freedoms and wants to see the citizens of this country treated fairly and he knows the government is not doing what is right, so I do think he has a good sense of what is right and wrong, but, I don't know that he has the Spirit of God in him, guiding him to do God's will??? He could possibly end up putting us in a very dangerous situation, unintentionally, and I agree with you that we need to be careful about who we trust completely, like, put our trust in God, the God of the Bible, the God of Israel. I don't think Elon wants to hurt us intentionally, but could end up doing so unintentionally.

I love the ideas you have to grow food. My fall/winter crops are cover so they don't ruin. Kale, bok choy, cauliflower and snap peas

I think if the solar works for them grow Towers. Everyone should at least be able to grow some stuff. We grow everything when we have time. Love our watermelon and cantaloupe. But I have to rotate them every year.
I'm going to we decided next spring. We're going to plant more fruit trees in the spring. In rememberance and everyone that we're effected by the hurricane.
I love that! I did the same. I have planted over 20 fruiting trees and plants since the storm. Something about adding life helps.
How do you keep the exposed rock wool from getting algues?
I don't. I just except that is a part of growing with hydroponics. It's harmless. The less light the less algae so once the plants get large it blocks the light and it goes away usually.

Yes, but the filters are hard to find now and it doesn't remove heavy metals so I'm going to be sharing a reverse osmosis system this week. That is the only way to really avoid the heavy metals.

I heard today Pigeon Forge had a fire earlier today it was in my TH-cam today is December fifth going on the 6th of December and they had 81 Acres that caught on fire did someone set this fire on purpose that scare people off the land in the area or it was too dry and with the wind blowing for cold weather coming or the other situation they were burning to get rid of stuff and then uses a fill-in hole to ashes and so on and all the sudden that wind gusts came along and stir it all up at once but that was just so sad seeing that it's on TH-cam if you didn't hear about it if it was out towards Pigeon Forge but it just wants make you cry 😢
