    It'd be interesting to see Lucid come back and make an updated version of this for the new changes in 5.29, such as the pretender, bless and scale changes.

    Did not know about the 3 point spreads for bless points. Might open some interesting doors. Thanks!

    I looked it up and it´s still there, but nobudy talks about passive effects of magic paths anymore.
    The magic paths also have effects like passive natural protection from earth magic or increasing fear for death magic as well as getting fear in the first place when your death magic reaches 5. These things seem to be overlooked these days, though they can be useful design decisions for awake expanders.
    Especially the already mentioned earth and death paths or fire/water/nature which give the associated resitances.

      Good point, i think i mentioned it for earth; added all the effects to the description

      They have been reduced in effect since Dom4 though. At the very leaat, Air is no longer added to Precision.

      Oh and with the auras it's worth mentioning that they also provide 10 res, which already costs 3 points, so the actual aura effect is just two extra bless points. I find it decent on defensive sacreds/thugs for nation that wants to tank temp scaled, esp if the thug themselves aren't resistant to that temp (most sacreds are)

    Medusa With Dogs For Legs, is my new metal-filk punk band

      She doesn't have dogs for legs, she has a snake tail for legs. The dogs are in place of her genitals.

    I think there was talk of bless rebalance in an upcoming patch... Hopefully it makes blesses more diverse since it's just quickness/regen plus some minor bless these days it would seem

    • @Petterwass
      @Petterwass 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We can Always hope. But Illwinter are not to familiar with this "balance" that you talk of :)

      I would also like some serious rebalancing of the Pretender Chassis since as of now only a couple seems really good if playing hardcore to win (all the Rainbow ones and about 4-6 of the Monster Chassis), and almost none of those are Titan chassis, which is a damn shame.

    on which nation do you advise immobile scale pretender?

    • @LucidTactics
      @LucidTactics  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      When you have a nation with good recruit anywhere mages and good non-sacred troops who can kill elites.

    • @nicolash2103
      @nicolash2103 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      and you have a nation in mind?

    • @LucidTactics
      @LucidTactics  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      There are lots of nations that can be played scales. The Ctis nations, man, marignon, the ulms, formoria, pangea even. When you go full scales, you basically decide to mostly use non-sacred troops. So for Pan or Marignon, they have sacred and non sacred versions of lots of their elite troops - if you go scales, you use the non-sacred ones.

    Heard hellbless mentioned a number of times elsewhere. Does this just refer to a specific build?

    • @juliang8676
      @juliang8676 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It refers to dumping your scales to be really bad so you can spend a bunch of points in getting a super strong bless. Its called hellbless because you make living in your nation hell to make your bless really strong

    I think the saving grace of titan chassis is that most of them have a lot of item slots while awake expanders most dont even have arms

    There is a calculator for Dom5 Pretenders pretenders5.testingmagic.ovh It allows to pick magic and scale first and then it shows what chassis are the cheapest for this.
