What is the music?
This ad is incredibly good. They almost convinced me that this was a better experience than any other tablet that had a compatible pen/pencil.
You're accent is so good to ear. You would make such an excellent story teller.
Been a rabid fan since the reMarkable 1 came out. Better paper, better thinking proved to be so true in my working life.
Ordered my first Remarkable. Just replacing my paper notes is almost value enough and reason to buy it. There are so many other features and potential changes in my workflow that I can not wait to start using. I am a task post-it note person used to facilitate whiteboarding business workshops and also see a great deal of value for gathering. It feels so natural to draw ad-hoc mindmaps and to write and take notes while you listen and interact to people at the same time. This is a super habit enabler and I need to keep practising note taking combined with templates for different viewpoints and structures. There are som many PDF templates with checkboxes and similar where you can have another step processing the PDF and let those selections trigger and alter the flow and further activities. My mind is spinning with so many different type of usages.

College will never be the same again. It'll run days on end, numerous books and information at the tip of your fingers. This will really help a lot of people.
So excited about the remarkable and its minimalism, but I really wait for the next generation (remarkable 3 ?)and I am hoping, that the display latency of moving text reduces and backlight for dark reading/writing will be introduced! Huge fan of your product and hopefully in the nearby future a happy customer, too :)

You can't have a backlight on an e-ink screen. Front light, sure but not a backlight

@@schmoople-Eh60m and @sempribo But you can have a LED inserted in the bezel, giving a front lighting so close to the screen that it has the effect of backlighting.

I’ve got it and very useful. Love it. Personally not sure about a keyboard. For this I use my MacBook. But may be to write a book it is much quickly with a keyboard.
One default : screen not as white as a paper and need more light than a paper.
I've been using reMarkable since the early days of their crowdsourcing adventure, and it has been completely life-changing.

Love design weight and use. Wish it had front light and less fragile pen. Using the kindle scribe and having the front light is game changer. If I could merge the scribe and reMarkable I would truly be happy. Also have max lumi and iPad Pro which we shall not talk about

Do the folios (normal and typing) use magnets to attach to the tablet? Do the magnets interfere with writing accuracy? I have a third party folio that uses magnets and that causes issues with where the ink appears being offset from where I write.
As a Solutions Architect I use Archimate symboling often - I have now handdrawn all symbols as reusable symbol layers and pages which I copy and paste. Archimate free tooling Archi has some visual symbols that with the eyes look the same. Ex process, functiona and event. But there is a common known coloring technique used to seperate them. Business are filled with yellow, Application are filled with turquoise , Technical filled with green , Motivation is purple and Strategy Implementation and Migration are Orange. I managed to see yellow and green on the higlighter but it would be super to get the other colors as well - thanx !

I have it and love it, but it has some flaws that if there was a cheaper alternative I'd get that for sure. What if it wasn't super fragile?

I work with an editorial where color is a must in the visual design hierarchy. I wish there was one with this exact form factor but with color!
PS. I know there´s other ipads and tablets but this just doesn't feel like one of them you know?

I like this invention a lot. wish I had it when I attend college. All the notes I wrote during classes would have perfected and edited into better education materials. All the thesis I wrote would have easily written out with ideals and correct it into real sentences without getting out my eraser and start rubbing over things. When I took my GMAT exam, i have to practice writing an essay in 30 minutes with any topic given, I practice it on paper and it were messy when I get done, ideals is not easy corrected into complete statement.
I will get one of these for my son.

Hi Jonatan, Thanks for getting in touch. You can import PDFs and DRM-free EPUBs, but we don't currently support ebooks with proprietary file formats or copyright.
This is the future of notebooks like in 2040 also its very great for the environment writing digital instead cutting of trees
I don't know where you are from, but in most countries (and especially developed countries) using paper sheets is way better for the environment than using tablets produced on the other side of the world and requiring a lithium battery to be charged. The main reason for deforestation is the development of productive industries (primarily agriculture), changing from paper to electronic notes won't save the world.
Hope i can turned back to school era & more using this device rather than bought much notebook

I like to scribble notes on loose papers. Kept losing those papers. Remarkable 2 addressed this pain point. Now I can keep all those notes in a single device. No, iPad doesn’t work. Too heavy, too distracting with other apps. Also it doesn’t feel like writing on paper.
It is available in India?

I love this, and I want this. But why not just use paper?
you can't sign a pdf and send it by email with paper. e-ink devices exist for a reason.
@@bcccl569 Yes e-ink devices exist for a reason, but I could sign a pdf and email it on my Ipad which has more functions and some models can go for around the same price. I understand the value this tablet provides and again I want one, but I would say this is more of a commodity.

I bought a paper like screen protector for my tab s8 and with the spen i just feel I can do so much more. If I want no distractions I can put it in airplane mode. And I just put my S8 on the charger before bed and it lasts me all day. Not that big of a deal. I just think my S8 makes a better digital notebook than this trying to have a couple tablet features and it also allows me to carry just one device.
Is it possible all the Memo, Notes..etc,... to be connected - transfered , to a Pc or Tablet , via ?

1. sync is horribly slow.
2. it clears your installed fonts after you update the system.
3. sync often simply just doesn't work

How is this better than just using my iPad? My iPad is always with me, so this would mean an extra gadget to carry around. It seems redundant.

got my remarkable in 2017, i was happy with the product but after 2 months battery was drowning really fast. now i want to give it away because not even the company wants it. i see these videos and i just can think about the worst purchase i have ever made

Usefulness of product very seriously undermined by lack of support for custom templates.

That display latency looks ... remarkably slow.
It's 4 years old now, the rM3 will certainly improve on this.

This has to be an SNL spoof commercial. This ad literally is saying that all its selling points are the exact same as just having a paper notepad, with the drawback that it has a battery life, needs a stylus and could possibly be hacked. SMH! it is "remarkable" that this company is trying to sell what is basically just a 8.5 x 11 palm pilot... UMMM remind me again, how successful was the Palm Pilot????

Side-note : Kindle offer a 10$ optionnal subscription.

e-ink allows for days of use with one charge and is better for reading. each device serves a different purpose.
