I know a lot of people prefer Master of Puppets, but ...And Justice for All made me really in awe of Metallica's raw talent and the effect that Cliff Burton had on James, Kirk, and Lars as not just musicians, but songwriters.
I know you also already did the music video version of "One," from this album, but the album version is much longer and a completely different experience. While the video is iconic in its own right, as it was something vastly different in a sea of sameness in the MTV generation, the song itself is a masterpiece.
'Am I Evil?' is another great Metallica classic. Great lyrics and rip speed guitars
That's a cover of Diamond Head. Not theirs
Didnt say they wrote it. They still recorded and released it. Thanks!!!!
This album was their best album. They were called speed metal back in the day.
When this album came out I was readinga fiction about post WW III. I had this CD in headphones, on repeat every time I picked up the book. It was like the perfect soundtrack to the story. 🔥🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽
I love this song..
Blackened Live in Seattle 89...and Nimes France 2009 that's all you need to know.
The bassist Jason Newsted wrote the main riff for the song
