Mr. Locke was very rude. My sister own a hair salon in Brooklyn and we treat the elderly with gentle care at the salon. Even the African hair braider at my sister shop listen to her client. Mr. Locke is disrespectful and have that gen z rudeness to her that she probably never comes on time to do her clients hair and she never wash her clients hair. The new rules that Gen Z hair stylist sets are pure trash.
People forget it does have to be tight because it’s supposed to last to 6 to 8 weeks unless you’re really gonna put a 300 to $400 or more every time you go to the hairstylist to get braids done
I do agree with the judge she should’ve refused when she saw the condition of her hair and she refused the recommendation as the professional had recommended far know that your dad do what you Gotta do and unfortunate customer is right most of the time so you do have to you know do with the customer ask you if they don’t take your advice then they don’t take it but then they can’t turn around after you’ve done your work and complain either it’s been too tight or it’s the wrong something at the other you had all this time to actually tell her she’s not doing something right and unfortunately being in a black person you should’ve known you gotta do your braids tight because they do have to stay in for a couple weeks just for little Jeopardy and really unless you are a celebrity that wants to have get their hair done every week or two and can afford a couple hundred bucks every time it’s not feasible for majority of people to do it within two months unless you got a good good job for me that you can’t like too much probably spend close to $1200-$1500 every two months that’s a lot of money depending on which style you get if you actually provide your own hair or you have to purchase from the stylist what they have on hand
Well her hair wasnt suited to this style but the Hdresser knew that & did it anyway -- i think she should hav had to pay the defendant back 1/2 of the cost of the styling cause it failed + it would be a lesson to her to tell clients " NO I am sorry but I cant achieve this with your hair type but there are other equally nice styles I can do" The defendant i seriously doubt had her hair braided 6 mos ago ..more like 10 years ago or so + I hav never heard of a Hdresser refuse to see or take care of a client with a complaint thats really bad business-- most often they will see u right away to mefiate the damage!

Never trust someone who's doubting themselves

Yes braids hurt. They shouldn't be tight enough to cause hair loss but they have to be tight to stay in.
Miss lockeeeee
