@@bugsyfishing gday again i re watched your video again, i noticed you also dive with a freedom 7 as i do, have you seen any serious sharks with it on??
@@oceanrambo hey mate! Yeah, I've been using them for almost 20 years now. When I first got one I tested it with bronze whalers, bull sharks, and white tip reef sharks. I found it worked better with the bigger sharks. Perhaps it is because they have more surface area on their nose and more Ampullae of Lorenzini and therefore are more sensitive to its effects. Just a theory. It has worked well as a deterrent but definitely not 100% effective
Bro, Absolutely loving this incredible video! The thrill of fishing combined with the mesmerizing underwater view is a whole new level of awesomeness. Nice catches too 🤙🔥🔥
Cheers Shane. I like drummer better personally. The flesh is flaky, white and moist. Really good. I like luderick too but I usually steam them with spring onions, and ginger and then top with hot peanut oil and some soy sauce.
Thank you Hai. Yeah, it's great to get that perspective. When editing, I noticed there was a tarwhine in the school of luderick. Interesting to see which species swim together too
Cheers mate. It was good to finally get in the water and check it out. Haha... I'm still trying to work out where I was too. I try to keep it nondescript
Hey bugsy me and my family are coming up to Sydney for a week never been there before would love to try get some bonito on ledge but not sure we’re it is in Sydney. Any info would be greatly appreciated
Hey brother I’m new to the fishing in the area and I’m just trying to wrap my head around the terms people use with the wind direction. When you said northerly winds do you mean wind coming from the S pushing up N or is it wind coming from the N down S?
Hey brother, wind is named by the direction from which it originates. Northerly wind blows from the north to the south. I didn't realise I mentioned the wind direction in this vid. Good pick up
That was really cool and nice to see the different species along with your comments. The big guy on the floor, was that a flattie? Are you comfortable with the shark device? I can imagine the amount of lures being down there, looks pretty bad with all the braid floating around. It's kind of hard to know what the ocean floor looks like from the ledge, but this gives you a pretty good idea. What's the difference in underwater vegetation during winter and summer, do you know? Fun stuff, thanks for making the vid.
Thank you, Jake. I'm not sure what that big fella on the floor was, perhaps some sort of shark. Didn't get close enough to have a good look. The shark shield works as a deterrent - I've tested it on bull sharks, bronze whalers and some others. It definitely helps but not 100% effective. Not sure about the the vegetation. I'll have to pay more attention. Yes, I definitely want to get rid of more of that braid. Cheers mate
Another great video, thanks
Thanks Trent
Great video mate thank you
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome session 👌🏾

Loving the content Bugsy some awesome clips, unbelievable what it looks under the water. Also cant say no to free lures and jigs haha !
Thank you Anthony. Free lures and jigs are a bonus for sure!
Love the content. How do you compare the taste of Drummer and Luderick side by side. I'm yet to taste either lol.
Cheers Shane. I like drummer better personally. The flesh is flaky, white and moist. Really good. I like luderick too but I usually steam them with spring onions, and ginger and then top with hot peanut oil and some soy sauce.
Mate you cleaned up on The fish and especially those lures 😂 might have to get the snorkel out myself
Haha... best underwater tackle shop around
How good ! Looks like a entirely different spot with these conditions
Doesn't it?! So incredibly flat that day
Was that a freedom 7 hanging back on your foot?
Yep... or Freedom 6. Can't remember which
You definitely need it for that spot lol
Amazing what it looks like down there! Giving me some great ideas on what lures and bait to use for those species down there. Thanks for sharing bro!

Hai, I think some of it were ours 😂
@@indosydneyfishing Haha high possibility

@@bugsyfishing thanks for your reply bro!
Where is this? please tell me this time!
Haha! This one is in Sydney. I prefer not to give away spots because I value my relationships with the people who fish them regularly
How deep is near the bank? 🙏
It drops of pretty quick from 12-20m

Haha! I'm not sure I remember where I was haha
You shouldn't show the advantages of swimming under fishing ledges mate! That's my tackle shop! xDDD
Haha... thank you!
