Hey Bugsy, I love your videos and how your footage looks. If you haven't already, could you do a video on your gear and how you film yourself fishing. I'd love to see what you do and stuff like your gopro settings and where you mount the camera. Thanks and tight lines.
hey mate... to stop tempura and battered things from sticking... with tongs, lightly wave the piece through oil to "seal" it for a few seconds before letting it go. this will harden the outer layer and it wont stick
I was literally fishing just a hop skip and a throw from there today and came up with a 55cm Bonito on that exact same maria reprise 😂 Wasn't sure if there what the size limit was for bonitos so mine lived to see another day. Awesome recipes btw mate 💪
My go to gear is a 6000 size reel with PE3 braid and a rod around the 10 foot mark rated the same as the line. This gives you some scope to land the odd bigger by-catch here and there. I like the Oceans Legacy Specialist rod in PE2-4. I think it is 9'8"
not gonna lie, after 6 weekends that I don't catch anything, this one made me a lil bit upset xD Just kidding, awesome video honestly ;) Keep it up legend!
Great catch and cook, Bugsy! Love that you utilised the entire fish avoiding wastage!
Got to respect the fish brother! Thank you
Well deserved and prepared dinner! Must of been fantastic!
Really good!

No way! Seems like that is the size lately. Not many of them but good sized fish. Your one might reach the 1m mark!
회 잘 뜨네~ 굿 잡!
Thanks mate

Ah man, 6 weekends! It is slow at the moment. Got to be lucky. Thank you Davide
Delish brother 🤙
Very nice dinner
Whats the optimal technique to fish a bonito?
I think an erratic jig is hard to beat
it looks like you're cutting across the grain of that fish?
Yes, across the grain
