Idli vada dosa higher chance of success

I think it also depends on the region. Idli Vada dosa in general will work everywhere but not necessarily be the most in demand depending on the region

I think it's true, it's a low ticket, least risk food . Even In North idli dosa vada is no brainer, these guys in video don't talk about ticket size vs customer trying new things

Neither of Vada or Dosa travel well. They also are very commoditised.

It’s not just about the cuisine, it’s about the quality. Middle class in metro cities these days are ready to pay any amount and try various types of food if the quality is top notch.

Hello @Nikhil, The Answers they gave are generic or highly diplomatic as they want to stay underexposed. I think you must have asked them what cuisine you sell most for breakfast lunch dinner or brunch?
I have answers to all of them...
for breakfast, go for South Indian
for brunch, go for Continental if possible
for lunch, going for local/regional cuisine will be preferred most, like in Gujarat, Gujarati thali will be preferred, in Maharashtra, and so on... and the reason is, Lunch is the most sensitive meal of the day as no one wants to upset their stomach as they are still in between of the active/working day and people do trust their local meal/cuisine and their gut has been inherited to digest their local cuisine.
for dinner, go for the North Indian, because dinner is the most "insensitive" meal for Indians. We keep doing experiments during our dinner time which is completely anti-ayurvedic! North Indian consists of Curries, Tibetian, and tandoori dishes.

I have observed a lack of healthy foods..like salads and proteins..not sure why many players thing of it..but if such outlets are set up around gyms and fitness centres it plays better..and who doesn't want to have bowl of healthy food right after a gym..unless they want to go home n cook . Given time constraints people would love to see it.

    • @anondolphin71
      @anondolphin71 ปีที่แล้ว

Very obvious answer is people always prioritise taste over healthiness. And healthy foods are generally not nearly as tasty as unhealthy/junk foods. Also sourcing healthy ingredients or replacement ingredients can be costly and hitting margins can be difficult.

India was a rice civilisation for millennia
Wheat is less mentioned in rig Veda
More of Rice millets jowar are what north Indians should be eating
North people are eating too much wheat than their ancestors were eating before centra asia Persian influence era
Karnataka has maintained the Vedic era traditions and earlier food traditions the food of Chalukya era are all preserved thanks to karnata samrajya aka Vijaynagar empire
Manasollasa epic written during Karnataka emperor soneshwara III contains huge chapters on food and cuisine King Nala’s book Paaka Darshana one of the earliest books on culinary art is also from Deccan Karnataka has also produced other ancient culinary books like Vaddaradhane and Soopa Shasthra ( Soopa meaning soup was invented in Karnataka) Dosae idly vade various rice preparations the various baths are getting popular by the day in north Easily digestible by the Indian tummy easy to prepare easy on the purse
That’s why south delicacies are going to rule soon
