    Great video, thank you! Gave me the confidence to install this on my 04 wr450f. I wrapped the wire around the coil. With the water seal holding it in place it was actually a clean and stable install. I also went directly to the battery for power and it worked well. Just in case anyone was apprehensive about soldering to the stator wires on a bike equipped with a battery.

    Thanks man, I was having trouble wiring it up to the stator. I was trying to run it off the pink and black wire. It doesn't like it. I hooked it up like you did, and I runs perfect on my 09 yz450. This is the best trail tech installation video I've seen over the years.

    Only works if you keep the front wheel on the ground! Not great for the 426

    Dude I never thought you could run the vapor tech off the stator ? Have you noticed any ignition issues or riding power issues?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No power issues, when it comes to the ignition I’ll let you know as soon as I’m done rebuilding the carb. I’m replacing the mid-body o-rings, adding a sigma jet kit and a quick-shot 3 and new accelerator pump membrane.

    • @localenterprisebroadcastin5971
      @localenterprisebroadcastin5971 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Albe's Adv Yeah those are all very necessary mods the mid body gasket is usually the reason these FCR carbs start acting up...if you’ve got a small hiccup right off idle that won’t go away the mid body is usually the culprit

    Could you show me how to wire a headlight on a wr426f please.i don't know wha5 wire is live and neg . Will it be green and black like ones for power on trail tech? Great vids from the UK ✌✌✌

    How do you get the dash to light up all the time ?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  ปีที่แล้ว

      The unit is wired into the bike and every time the bike is started or even just kicked the light comes on, is you don't start the bike, the light goes off after a few seconds if you start the bike the light stays on

      You are certain you are running the Trail Tech Vapor off of the bikes factory AC output? I want to run the same setup on my 426f. How are you certain you are not using the Trail Tech’s battery?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christianbenfell2715 because when I start kicking, even before the bike turns on, the dash lights up with every kick. If you are off the battery you need to turn the back light on manually

      Okay thank you. I will copy you. I am surprised the instrument cluster operates off AC current.

    I got one guestion, did you wire the rpm sensor directly to the ignition coil 12v wire? It kinda shows and kinda doesnt in the video

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, directly to the coil male plug.

    • @uuldriks
      @uuldriks 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlbesADV did you just use the red sensor that you normally wrap around the spark plug cable?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I shortened to the length I needed, I attached a female connector to it and plugged it in, in my case the coil had an empty male connector on it
